The other guy did start it. But that does not mean that your bro is innocent of wrong doing.

Well, I was told you should declare war on everyone you attack, because it reduces casualties. At least that is the way I understood it.
About the planet names, they definately did not say "Attack me and you'll be massed" or "Attack me and you're a vulture". They mostly said "Beaconed Planet", "Don't attack my CO", "Selling Account", and a few other things that I can't remember. I saw nothing stating LV was in the war, or would mass me if I attacked.

He couldn't have abandoned it as soon as he took it as the new planet updates do not allow this, i believe your officer had a full 24 hours to take the planet back before it could be abandoned, and the first 12 hours it cannot be protected by PPT either.
if you steal a planet you can abadon it straight away...I had it happen to me once

Try again, u can't abandon a planet at least 12 hours after u take it, u also can't hide it with merlin...

I'm not sure whose side I'm arguing here, but unless they added that update w/in the last week, YES you can abandon it RIGHT away. Hence the beacons to find it.

A few clarifications.
Declaring war will give you more naq and more casualties. The more naq part is the reason you were probably told to do it. Completly overpowering their defense will reduce your casualties.
Planets can currently be abandoned immediately after capture. Trust me on this one.
Advice time.
Do not use tactics that you consider low. It removes any support from your position. And you will not be able to defend your own actions since you define the tactic as low.
That being said I have always thought that officers are prime targets in payback attacks. But I don't think it is a low tactic. I think it shows the high respect I have for the officer and commander relationship. I think it supercedes that of player and alliance. But that is probably a topic for another thread.

yes this is all true and on one planet i had written:"i mass for single non COP attack" or something like that...i'm 100% that i had this written when you attacked me because i wrote it on my planets 1 day before you attacked me because i was attacked about 15 times this day from non COP members...you declired war, attacked me,look like you didn't read planets carefully,..you know what happended then...
if you wouldn't set to me on war i might wouldn't start massing you,but you know that war declaration means that or you added me on farm list or you want to have war with me...
i have to thank all COP guys who remembered and send me gude PM ingame when you saw topic here about me (before i even answered),thanks especailly one guy who lied about me to several COP members (i won't post name here because i won't go so low),thanks to all guys who i had for friend before today also,...
guys you don't need to answr on my post because i won't answer you because you will never see me again..
GL in war to all anyway and i hope all will play more clean that you played till now!

If you wish to announce a challenge (not a war declaration) to a player or alliance - do so.
If you wish to announce an alliance war - feel free.
If you wish to use the board to threaten other players - perhaps because of their actions (in-game of course) - crack on!
If all you want to do is tell us someone attacked or sabbed you, or that you (as a single player) have declared war on another player, and that war won't involve anyone else, place it in This & That, or even Spam - because frankly, it isn't worth much more. It's the nature of the game folks.

Discuss.
This is not a war thread. Moved to This and That.

Well, LV sent me 100k uu to pay for damages to my son (Dominic), Hollywood's officer. Why he sent them to me I don't know, but I'll make sure they get passed along.
So it appears that he is making reparations to that end.
On my end, all is forgiven. Let's move on.

Of course it's easy to send UU when your selling your account.

He has asked for forgiveness and it has been granted. He has made reparations and they have been accepted. All is forgiven, LV. We are a people of forgiveness.
