as for the forum, it looks great with the exception of the brightness (as stated many times) all it needs is a darker skin

i've always used subsilver, much better then the dark one, i love new forum

I don't know if any one asked this but what are the dots on popular threads? They are only on some of them.

Seriously, why the update? I liked it how it was, im sure everyone else would agree. I don't doubt that you will be able to return the graphics etc to the way it was before, but how long will that take?? :S

Pretty sure I'll like it, but the skin is bad.

So, I've created silly ways to protect against the new skin:
1) Tone your screen brightness/gamma down
2) Wear sun glasses

no.. phpbb3 is way better than phpbb2... way more coding options.

its just that the old skin hasnt been put in for this verson

I'm assuming that the thread was lost in the forum transition...

There was a rollback or a starting point to move the forum... generally thread are locked and moved away later if they are bad with/without warning given. It probably got cut out with the rollback.

Thats like saying Vista is way better than XP. Or Office 2003 than Office 2000.... All later versions have 'more' 'features', its whether they are useful and make any difference that we want to care about.

Everyone here would agree XP is better then Vista (for now), so if it ain't broke, why fix it?? Especially seing as it now looks crappy, and there might be incompatability problems that make the forum worse than before for us...

And after one year I was just getting used to the other one lol.
