From what I have seen, the difference in races only affects what power you have initially. After that, there is no difference.

My experience has shown me that ascended war is pretty worthless. Anyone can build up ridiculous strike or defense, and any defense can be taken down without much difficultly.

My time is premium enough that I focus only on main. Heck, I deleted my BattleCorps account (and that game has incredible promise). I keep my ascended account active enough to not be descended in main.

I do the same, the part that I keep my Ascended Server account active so I wouldn't descend in the main.

after reading through the long first post, among many others in this thread...

maybe it should be unstickied and sent to the bottom,
as it was good at the time, but now is vastly outdated,

from what my feeble brain understands up here in the clouds. :P

Since most posts are to long when I quote some one, how about this .

I have figured out the differences between races in the ascended server now, it's in my Ascended Server blog. To bad some of the players don't visit 3rd party places like my blogs / help pages :(.

Note that my version of Ascended Servers Rules is in my latest poll ;)

so after all of this,
doing all of this,
i have finally reached a point where i am comfortable in screwing around,

now, just to be curious,
how do the personal attacks work? what are great strategies for massing, how do you use all of the special buttons (like destroy military) with strategy,
and i saw that having more assasins is more important, why does less cause problems?

Assassins protect your account. If you don't have them you will get owned.

(A) "Initiate revolution" uses covert to untrain income producing planets. DO NOT DO THIS OR I WILL KILL YOU! There are not enough farms on ascended as it is without dumb noobs making things worse. (Sorry for insulting noobs)

(B) "Destroy military" kills off strike and defence planets. For this to work properly you need your assassin power to beat your opponents.

(C) "Destroy" kills off attack and defence planets and works by using your strike power.

(D) "Hunt assassins" uses strike power to kill off your opponents assassins. Useful to do before (B) if you have low assassin power.

(E) "Destroy intelligence" uses your assassins to kill your opponents covert. Not the best use of turns as covert doesn't really do much damage on this server.

Sabbing is pretty much a waste of turns if your opponent has bought 100 billion weapons

A combination of (B) and (D) with a sprinkling of (C) is enough to do a massing in the conventional sense.

For personal attacks (attempts to descend) "Assault **** Directly", build up your top 2 power-ups (attack power & attack skill) and Max energy capacity (I think) and let the feathers fly. Make sure you have a bag of turns and is best begun when your opponent has just logged off. It's difficult impossible to descend a genuinely active player

now it's all cool
i need stats/ calculations / tricks lol
you know how B and C are the same?
which one is more effective?
fremen said that in B, you can only kill up to a max of 10 percent of someone's army, etc
I need to know these things : )
Thanks btw

You need to know, huh. lol Who are you planning on destroying?

Check out the Ascended Calculator for varies of calculations and see what levels do to certain stats.
http://www.sgwhun.hu/?page=links
Oh and I find (B) to be more effective.

(B) & (C) are not the same. B uses assassins, C uses strike. B destroys planets, C destroys planets (not as many though) AND damages weapons

(B) kills off 10% of total trained attack & def per hit of 9 turns. Your death rate is max 4% assassins per successful hit.

Death rate of strike planets when you attack for dmu is max 0.3% I think. It's ridiculously cheap.
If you fail on strike, the max losses are 1.66%. Still pretty cheap (someone may like to correct if I'm wrong)

You lose a little more on destroy missions as well I think.

nah, i lost 200 k out of 6 mil strike planets just now, which is 2 percent.

to angelis : i'm not planning on destroying anyone, just want to know how to destroy someone in case i need to : )
and if B is 10 percent, is C 10 percent too?

Without seeing your logs I believe you'll find it's 6m x 5 = 30m planets you have in strike. But I could be wrong...

10:40 FE Attack Defended 15 0 1200000 62,374,747,972,808 875,596,483,296,720 details

out of 6 mil planets trained,
which makes it 240k lost
