first off MR HISTORIAN ...... if u knew ur SGW history, you'd know that when we formed The Legion, we chose that quote as a symbol of what we were all about. this was BEFORE we took upon the roleplaying persona of the Romans. so.......... do u want us to change our 'Motto' just because of something u say?

I think The Legion have a good quote there and it doesnt matter where it came from because the message inside the quote is what matters. Not which historical empire they 'took' it from.
