Why is it so hard for you all to understand that admin's intention was to get more people to play the ascended server. Yes some people have put years int there accts. You have taken this way to personally. Jason is running a business that serves over 80K accts since 2004 and you think you can do it better.

Actually, yes I can and I have made any number of suggestions to that end, as a playtester and a player. Jason has chosen to ignore/disregard/whatever Jason does to my suggestions and go his own way, which is why we find ourselves in the situation we are in now.

Anyway, either the server is balanced and we can remove rank mods or these updates were all for nought and it will be just more of the same and Jason will have to update again.....and again.......and again. Or, he can listen to people who actually PLAYED the server and know what works and doesn't work and adjust it properly. Listening to the whiners who didn't try and making updates based on what they want was the most absurdly ludicrous thing he could have done. That would be like implementing suggestions that I make for a construction project when I know nothing about construction. "Well the Luxor Hotel is a pyramid; I want my building to be a pyramid too".

If you had a brain large enough to read properly youd know that there were other ways suggested that would produce simular result without people being screwed over.

Yeah, I made out okay with the updates and am doing pretty decent for having a prophet account at this time and see how I can make up for the difference as I finish off the rest of my ascensions until I reach EAG.

I think that if we give Jason a bit of time he will rework the mods and such but not before people are actually getting more active on the server.

I have never liked the rank mods to be honest and I even remember when Jason tested placing the ascension rank mods in main for a bit and everyone was just plain irate over it, lol.

Is the server balanced as of now?

No, but it is on the way to it.

I have played a few different ascension accounts in my time and I have always found ascension to be a boring and pointless game as there wasn't much to it other than stat building for the sake of stat building but now it may actually have a chance to become a real and playable game for everyone.

Like I said, give a bit of time, let the ppts end and people get used to playing it.

A piece of advice for those that are not that well versed on playing ascension, keep in mind on this server it is all about planning and working your account, if you just upgrade things for the sake of upgrading them then you can forget having a decent account on ascension.

With these updates everyone has a chance to play and I hope that they realize that they should take advantage of this and work on their accounts.

Of coarse its not balanced lol. You still wont catch the top20 unless you are already top40 or so.
