Well i have a small postcount but i read the forum every day , its not cos we dont post that we dont know wats going on .

Misunderstood but my fault, I've given examples of Omega being wronged etc but it's much bigger than that, I'm sorry if you've not seen it, I'm sure you will. I've failed to see my friends slapping down people supporting us for any reason including profiteering.

many people have been wronged both ingame and on these boards and everyone of them including omega fall into 1 of 2 category's, they are quitters or they've learned to laugh it off...
omega have never struck me as quitters

To be honest Replijake has a point. Admittedly Omega has been probably the most anti PC alliance, if theirs Drama on the forums its either Tok'ra or nuto, both are probably bashing/sucking up omega much to the uproar of the community.
Was it right to bash Geisha? No, probably not. But again to be fair Geisha really didn't hold herself up in a dignified manner i'd expect.
"Well i digest" Omega should come back simply because how else can we say that Omega is an evil empire the likes of none before it.

I blame the polite people. I remember during the EPA-Omega war there were alot of insults flying about, as it is only a game nobody took it serious but it gave a little motivation in return. The insults were also respectful, like insulting an in-game name, or a planet name, even the way somebody acts in-game, nothing personal was said. Back in the day you were allowed to hate your enemy for being just that, your enemy. Nowadays you have to apolagise and wish the enemy good luck, I have no problem being graceful after a war but being polite during a war just causes people to end the wars early.
Another problem is the lack of true allies, i.e. TA/EPA or Omega/EPA. The alliances actually looked out for each other as friends, rather than being together purely out of power. Even the forum benefited from this as you came to teh SGW forum to talk to friends from other alliances.
The increased whining from n00bs doesn't help though, the game should be kept fair but shouldn't benefit the strong or the n00bs.
Theres my 2 cents anyway.
P.S. - Even I miss Omega being the bad guys.

In past, people made fun of them, mocked them, now it's not the same..

I agree with you that ture allies are rare nowadays. Now people ally only with people who are benefical for them and that's it. No inter-alliance cooperation between allies, no mutual friendships.
However I do not agree with you that people should be 'nasty' at each other ingame be it war or peace. Yes, small joking around is nice and brings fun to observes and doesn't let the enemy to fall asleep, however we all should be able to be respectful towards the other side.
I miss old good Omega full of dedicated people, more of an brotherhood, people sticking up to each other. It was quite obvious at first sight what kind of alliance they were. At first look, on the surface ruthless warriors but when you got ot know some of them you found out that they are nothing more than close friends in game. That was old Omega which some of us looked up to. Long time gone... I'd say.

there still around. Like an insidious power that lulls above our gaming heads ready to give and take away power as it see's fit.
Sorta like the sith, but more in number and not quite as evil and corrupt.
Personally I dont blame them for not being active on the forums. As much as I am openly negative towards the Omegan Empire on many an occasion they do have a standard of player and character upheld by many of their members, even the cruler ones, (but not all the members..*cough* Geisha *cough*), and to put it simply, such character is above many of those who inhabit the forum these days. Had I any other place to post with such an active community I would to be seen less and less here. (To everyones joy..)

to be fair its not just omega that are boycotting the forum, but would be good to see some of the big names make a return, if for no other reason than to stick it to the n00bs...
and i don't care if any n00b feels offended!

I still use the forums occasionally. I suppose this topic is aimed more squarely at the 'old school' Omega members though, like Replijake or ETL.

Personally I think you don't have to be nice to be respectful. I used to make a habit of insulting EtL and Replijake(not that they will remember) but that didn't mean I didn't respect them. Your not meant to like your enemy. You are supposed to beat them, the point of a war is to benefit your alliance or the game in general and the way to win a war is to beat the alliance you are fighting. If you are nice to that alliance then you will get beat. People should argue as to why war starts, if they started fro the right reasons, if its moral or not, its all part of teh fun in wars. Most wars used to be fought on the forum and in-game, now they are fought by diplomats.

2 examples- Tweets fighting back and their crying 'someones small is hitting us, waaaaa waaaaa waaaaa' and when FoE merged with them, TLE refuses to accept FoEs tactical commander because they held a grudge from the CiA/CoP war (apparently I farmed em a little too much in the war, rofl. And in either case, I gotta say Omega reacts with a LOT more class, they get massed they just say good mass and proceed to mass back, sometimes even send a polite PM, and most of em dont hold a grudge AFTER the war (I should know, Ive fought both with and against them, on more than one occasion against)
3- Omega never could decend me, and ETL emself tried once :p (hehehee, just had to throw that out)
Or maybe TLE didn't want u because ur too annoying? Who knows....and now i guess u hold a grudge against TLE...whatever
And yeh...forums are a lot different since Etl is gone and Omega members don't post soo much...
