you want threads specifically made for the temple not other things that belong nowhere else

regardless, if we get the temple, that would be nice. that would mean less conflict between general users and the spammers. Best solution for all.

anyway you'll need to ask an admin anyway and when you do dont forget to ask for the dump be removed because it would fit with the public spam section

the non-visible dump is for the stuff that cant be public... and it will stay...
for example, it is used to store stickies and such no longer valid, just in case something like them is needed again...

what hidden sections the moderators have, matters not, and you know that...

Just leave it alone. Personally, I think exclusivity is a bad idea, it allows for more stricter rules, which is something we've fought/fighting to have removed.

guess so... he doesnt seem to see that things have changed since he left.

that and his references to other spam forums, him being 'superior' well... he may know other sites... but not here anymore.

(is like saying i know what EVERYONES houses are like cos i have a house somewhere... duh...)

but anyway, the temple as we know it jack would stay and the creation of another to serve as a global public bin. it wouldnt effect us other than certain individuals recognising us as a community. thats all my suggestions goal really is...

and heck, if it happens, we can develop our own standards as a community, create our little spam utopia as it were...

you dont need to have stricter rules it'll be yours just dont break any forum rules and you can have it however you want

make it almost rule free if you want or even allow anyone to go in there but mods wont be able to dump stuff in there

you talk about your community but your acting as if all spammers feel that way

so if you have your own section you can run it however you want(within the forum rules of course)let everyone enter or decide you keep some people out it doesn't really matter


and jack the bickering threads are spam

but then all other spam can go into a different section

spam is spam no matter where you are which is why i brought up other forums

you dont want that? get them to make you a section where you can stop it form happening

yes, everything that is placed there, is spam from the general section... and, this might suprise you, that is exactly what it was created to house...

Sorry for interfering in a matter which is obviously outside my range of expertise... but I do see at least 2... ok, 3 things to make the public dump what hidden wants it to be:
- rename it
- allow posting new topics in it
- move it to Misc
Just my 2 cents.

lucky starr, the public dump was made for the general section staff, and moving it to the misc section, would only make things harder for them... (splitting topics into sections one isnt mod in, doesnt work, thus they'd have to first spilt, then move the split-off stuff...)

As far as I'm concerned, the 'Public Dump' is a pointless thing and should never have been created.

ooo i like you and yes the public dump is pointless the only purpose it serves is another spam place just not allowed to make new topics

if these matrix spammers want to keep some spam out then they should ask for their own section where they can do just that instead of wanting the PUBLIC spam section changed
