While you do make a point, don't you think the game would be boring if admin would do everything we want?

If admin only did that, the game would die pretty fast.

Anything to help the statsless lazy snipers.

EPA: Showing how expensive 1 Hit Mass Policies are 1 planet at a time, and doing nothing significant to present themselves a credible alliance..

I agree. As it's bias to say the least.
All the stat bonuses are able to be compensated for with mercenaries or more units trained. The things like AB are not able to be so easily compensated for, since there is a cap to the number of ascensions you can do, and thus being in that house puts you at a permanent advantage over others.
IMO, either all houses should be un-conventional bonuses (AB, realm alert, MS, planets, etc) or they should all be stat bonuses (basically the original atk/def/covert/AC)

I agree we should create a level playing field.
Some houses are singificantly better than others right now.
Balancing what we have now and creating more attractive houses is the way forward.

Well why dot we just reset the whole dam server and start everyone at ground zero to level the playing field? All this whining about someone's ability and account better than you and yours is rediculous. Stop trying to bring the top players down to your level..WORK YOUR ASSES OFF and get up there!

There is a difference between working on your account, and getting a bonus that can't be achieved no matter how much work you put in. Like 2 players both fully ascended, one in faith and the other without a house. There is NOTHING the non-house player can do to get that extre blessing chance boost.

That seems to be a recurring theme for Admin. We'll re-alert him yet again about it

Dont know who your ranting at JT, the rest of us are discussing HOUSE bonuses which have nothing to do with activity or effort, the best bonus simply goes to the largest group ( Empire ), even if many of their members do little or nothing but be there to get the bonus.

Edit

I think this simple poll says it all

viewtopic.php?f=43&t=166744

Your preferance...
Leave it, I like the bonuses for those whom can get in a house. 14% 14% [ 6 ]
Make the bonuses a redistribution of stats. Rather then out right bonus 5% 5% [ 2 ]
No bonus or distribution. Just a way to group alliances. With house wide abilities. 70% 70% [ 31 ] x
Other (please specify) 11% 11% [ 5 ]

It would probably be best to poll the account out there, since any polls in the forum are only ever viewed by those whom visit the forum.

But yes, it's not exactly a narrow margin of preference...

Alliance Gifts
* Alliance Weapon Repair to Once Per Turn

Lol, who was whining about it? :) Anywyas, finaly someone realized that allaince repair button was evil.

Alliance Gifts
* Gifts slightly more expensive

This is not fair since many allainces spent bank space research for half price as it is now. We are not talking about 10% more increase of natural space, but abnout like 5000% or 10000% at same costs. jason, this was realy not good idea. Rather to increase price of allaince PPT. Everyone has chance to use it. But BIG allainces which had hundreds of trillions in allaicne bank and spent it are REALY boosted in bank space, smaller are **Filtered** once again!!!!

2b per increase before by 1T is 500%
4b per increase now by 1T is only a half, thats 250%
now multiple Trillions... lets say 100T makes you 50 000% before last update, now its 25 000%!!!!!!!!!!

This is far far from balancing the game.

If they really are that expensive then I think it is WAY to far. Increase maybe, that much? NO.

How is a new alliance meant to be able to use (I'm assuming based of C2's post) a weapon repair for 1T. To use it once/day, a new alliance would have to generate 100T/day (total alliance income). At lets say 25 players, thats an average income of 83B/turn per player.

All this does is give a major advantage to alliance that have been around since the alliance bank was added. With there multiple hundreds of trillions of saved up naq, they'll be at massive advantages over any alliance form is like the past 6 months.

-Edit-
If you want to make it more expensive, make it proportional to the alliance income. When the naq added to the bank is done, just get that number and multiply by like 4 or something.

I'd also like to comment on the alliance PPT and using it. You can use 12 hours/week. So that's 12T alliance bank naq. Which is 1200T/week income needing to be generated by an alliance to use all the PPT available. With 24 members, each member must make 50T/week, or 7T/day. This just isn't doable, since an income of 7T/day would need 1.4B miners to generate.

In short, an alliance would need 35B (yes billion) miners to generate enough income to use all 12hours of PPT/week

Alliance ppt costs 6,000,000,000 per use not 1,000,000,000,000...

Only way to make the prices fair would be to link them to alliance income and reset banks, each upgrade / gift to cost a small % of alliance total income. I dont see this would be to difficult to code as it could be based on the previous weeks income into the alliance bank already which already has a calc to receive a % of total alliance income.

All this tinkering and changes of live updates goes to show that updates are not sufficiently tested and comments not taken into account before they went live. IMO all updates idea's should go to player vote before being coded, and vote again before going live, the 2nd vote only being open to players who logged into the Beta Server to try them out.
