Now isn't it more technology tree than actual races since the recent updates
But TW have got Highwayman, one of the original Dirty Dozen so there is some hidden potential in that alliance

the recent update sucked, but well, better this then no SGW because of MGM.

hm, already heared that name before ... but well, with their poor Tauri technology they'll never be able to beat a God, which is impossible anyway.

Well you could test that theory, there a few anti-Gods that use Tauri technology.
As for the updates I think they sucked more for the thing that SG fans looking for a game to play now a days won't stumble across TGW like they used to. The player base started dying when the series ended but I think loosing "Stargate" in our url stabbed the possibility of getting new generations into the game, but that's a little off topic

Actually, he and his alliance couldn't even stand up to the Tauri Recruits, which is our wimpy training alliance. And your one to talk. Your empire is looking a little.... thinly stretched.
