Can confirm, weapon repair does work. One bug i noticed. The repair gives strength back to 5750 for defence, and 5760 for attack. But it seems weapon strength for defence weapons is now 5955. But it only repairs to the old 5750

This is really the only option to increase a defense's usefulness. Which is why my suggestion to tie weapon fatigue to realm alert would probably work the best.
Increasing costs hurts smaller players.
No matter what the power levels are, massing will not change unless the weapons last longer.

Admin has said that he won't make attack supers killable this time.
While the easiest way of making attack supers killable is to make supers androgynous this doesn't necessarily have to be the way it happens because as mentioned this would mean that when you mass someone you mass everything. Rather if there was another attack or something to kill attack supers WHEN a defense was down that would be a good way of keeping them separate - something along the lines of defense = 0, so you start killing both supers or something else. But since it's not going to happen... there's no point in speculating

Actually, the idea of massing a attack after defence wasn't like by Jason either. He's reasoning was that it would be alot harding to fight back, since not only has your defence been killed, but also your attack.
So best solution, is either force a defence on people, or allow us to attack attack units without the need to lower defence.

when does the update come with gives everyone 10x's the income?
For the best part of the last year I have been ascending every two weeks... buying around 7.5mill attack weapons and 7.5mill defence weapons... this was less than 10 trillion naq... you honestly expect people to afford these weapon costs?
I earn (with all units in the mines) 40ish billion a turn... to afford the weapons for my next ascension I need another 50 days worth of full income to get into top 5 GnR range...
do you consider the rammifications of the changes?
How are new players supposed to afford these weapons also?
Is the next part of the update going to make it 5-10x's the cost to increase your unit production or...
when you log on you automatically lose everything you have gained since you last logged on... I think that would be a sensible addition

Say average at the moment is between 5 and 10 mill supers at a cost of 5,992,000 Naquadah per weapon
So
5,000,000 = 29,960,000,000,000
10,000,000 = 59,920,000,000,000
Now if you want to add mercs to this, double them costs,
Hell even if you want a small amount say 2mill, its going to cost you 12trill
Now take into account that you only need around 30-35% of said defense in attack to mass it,
Attack weapons
5,558,000 Naquadah each
5,000,000 = 27,790,000,000,000
You get the idea, its cheaper for them to attack yet again, ok the defense weapons got a little bit of a boost to strength, but this update just makes it that snipers will beable to do way more damage than they will ever receive and that is a complaint the community has had for along time, yet admin seems to have completely missed it again,
If this update goes ahead, you WILL see at least 85-95% of the server running with 0 defense, as no one is going to invest 30trill naq into something that takes 3 minutes to remove, with little to no costs to the attackers.
Defenders lose again,

EDIT: Have I missed something of is the games potentially biggest exploit?
Say I know update is going to happen on wednesday next week (btw I don't lol) why wouldn't I then PPT on tuesday, dump 100tril naq into defence weapons...wait for update then sell my nice new shiney weapons for almost 10times the price I brought them for? lol
1 Quad naq sounds nice to me (was wondering how I was going to pay for the next few spy levels )
