You cannot get a bonus until the 5th day.
You cannot be kicked until day 6.
Changing your vote will reset the time to day 0.

So, when you make a re-vote, it is like you are starting again. You shouldn't be kickable on day 5.

What time was the house joined and exactly when were you kicked?

What's to stop an alliance from constantly changing their vote so that they can never be kicked?

I misunderstood what you were saying was a bug then. The fact that your bonus/time gets reset when you change your vote is not a bug, however if you were kicked after changing a vote, but before you had been in the house again for 6 days then yes that would be a bug.
