I would like to congratulate ETL and Omega for once again (second time in two weeks) abusing the house bug to prevent themselves from getting kicked from a house. I remember a thread in the not so distant past where ETL accused us of cheating merely for not personally letting him know that the house they were in didn't work (even though we had posted a bug report on the forums for all to see). For an alliance so adamantly "against" cheating in all of its forms, it is truly comical to see your leadership doing exactly that which you claim to despise. Not that this really surprises any of us who know you well, but it's still a bit disappointing.

If you really wanted to not get attacked by TAF so badly, you know you can surrender whenever you feel like it. We might just accept In the meantime, I guess we'll keep hitting your already statless sister alliances...

Actually that was down to me playing with the alliance management page during one of the short up times between maintenance windows from yesterday's server troubles and nothing to do with either ETL or the rest of Omega's leadership. While I thank you for your congratulations on my master of said page, there really isn't the need

You will be pleased to know that Support has quickly remedied the problem, and after a bit of testing, the vote system as it stands now is much more clear cut and robust.

Anyway, I have moved Omega to the next house I am interested in, so we are both (OA & TAF) back on each other's respective menus.

As for surrendering, not interested thanks We (OE) had been under the impression this would have been a 3 month war from the start, you (TAF) clearly had another impression, so wires were crossed at some point. Regardless, you guys are happy to continue, we are happy to continue so it's all good

I've explained it was me who updated the vote, I've said it was fixed by support, given we were on ppt (except one person I believe) it should have had no effect on gameplay other than not giving you the option to boot us. I've moved us to another house and your alliance is once again able to attack us, believe it, don't believe it, up to you, I'm not going to try and twist your opinion either way.

The best thing about the start of the war was HE actually asking us to have a war with them OR they would mass us anyway so wuite why we would be willing to accept an end to the war when you clearly was trying to THREATEN us is beyond a joke.

I define winning as the ability to attack, raid, sab mini mass, whoever i want whenever i want, and i am winning cause that is what i'm able to do, unlike others who's goals are...

I give ways out, but if you don't them, then by all means don't take them. You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink!

Just remember when i go massing, i normally sit with 20-100tril out, not glory phased and sometimes well most times with a war setting on most people. So Math i don't have to worry about winning this war, i've won, and you never had a chance. Now it's true you may sit on my alliance and brag about there massings and stuff like that. However we are few, and you are many. It's also true that if it was just an alliance of rhett and myself, you would be in the same boat. However since we have more members it means they get to enjoy some of that tasty naq.

As for honoring my agreements, you can ask i don't break them, you may want to check your pockets after agreeing to them, but i do honor NAP's and DRA's, however i don't give them out because a farm alliance one. At this point of the game that's what the majority of your members are, because of your failure to police yourself you have gotten 2/3rd of the server to declare war on you. You became to fat, had too much wool and need to be fleeced. Now i enjoy farming environmental friendly, but i'm not opposed to have lamb for dinner either.

So as the rams butt your head together and figure out what you want, and while you wait the wolves will be picking off a new sheep for dinner.

Alliances have different goals, as always. TAF is a community. First and foremost. We don't kick friends who are less active just because they don't fit to our standards...we do kick people who are completely inactive from time to time, but everyone gets an invite to come back if they so desire.

It's not a question of politics, of hatred, of winning battles and dominating your opponents. Don't get me wrong, we enjoy giving a good beating to an opponent, but that's not the point of this game. This game has become a part of all of our lives and we who are still here are here because we want to enjoy this game.

Now you are right, you spent an ungodly amount of money to build a dominant account and you keep spending money to ensure your account maintains dominance. Congratulations to you. That ensures that you don't get massed every night, though you get massed plenty. You can talk about how that doesn't infringe upon your style of play and I congratulate you. But here's the thing, you don't infringe upon ours either. TAF was never designed to have huge stats and sit behind them. We were never designed to have huge planets and live off of them. We had a year of peace which was rather nice albeit boring so stats and planets and accounts grew along with that peace, but that's not us. You threatened war constantly during that year. You never followed through on those threats. We did not strike first, but we gave you plenty of opportunities to back up your words. That is not us getting fat, that is you all being too timid to try something.

We as an alliance seek the peaceful solution first. We attempt diplomacy when feasible and we attempt diplomacy when a diplomatic solution to a conflict will be meaningful. I have yet to be convinced that any solution to this conflict will result in anything meaningful. We know the game you want to play HE and in that game, there is no point to cease fires or truces or negotiation. Blood and destruction are the only reasonable replies.

Nothing would give me more personal pride then to be fighting you for the next year until the only two accounts left in OE were you and ETL bragging about how amazing you and your empire are. We're patient. We're not going anywhere. If you want to talk diplomacy, you know where to find us. No guarantee we would say yes, however...and until such a day as you are ready to meet us with fair terms and a reasonable head, we will see you on the battlefield, as always.

You can talk tough right now claiming future terms will be worse and we are the ones hurting ourselves, but we know you better than that. You will keep talking and talking and fighting and talking and fighting and some day you will realize the futility of your talking and your fighting and your spending and you'll come right back to the table ready to end this properly. On that day, I might not even tell you I told you so.

I would hardly call spending 40 grand or more "winning", lol. someone who wants a challenge doesn't spend that amount of cash on a free game, although it is amusing how many times you get taken out in an online fight even having purchased such a ridiculous advantage. I'm with Tziki, best way to fight your wallet is to ignore you then all that cash is wasted, all the while OE is loosing members. I would say credibility too but they haven't had that in years

I could not have said any of that better. 100% agree with everything Mathlord posted yesterday. TÅF is a family, and what our stats are ingame do not define us.

Sadly, the truth is that not once in our 9 year+ history has a TÅF HC member doing diplomatic talks with OE, walked out thinking "those guys are nice.. that's a fair deal". Of course our alliances are different in nature, but that does not mean you guys are better and it definitely doesn't mean you can push us around. We can back up our nice, friendly diplomatic approach with the ability to do damage on the battlefield, as we ALWAYS have been able to do.

As mathlord stated there have been MANY MANY MANY threats from OE, eventually culminating in them starting this war. Then when you finally did start this, you told to us that "we'll mass you when the NAP ends, war for 3 months, short NAP then we'll mass you again". No discussions.

If OE thought we would agree to that happening, you are either stupid, or think we are. We are not.
