I would hardly call spending 40 grand or more "winning", lol. someone who wants a challenge doesn't spend that amount of cash on a free game, although it is amusing how many times you get taken out in an online fight even having purchased such a ridiculous advantage. I'm with Tziki, best way to fight your wallet is to ignore you then all that cash is wasted, all the while OE is loosing members. I would say credibility too but they haven't had that in years

- Realistically, there are 3 competitive empires/factions.

Of course OE will always be looking for war, surely that's what we all play Gate WARS for, no?

Yes ending gives people time to recuperate, get a little bit more interest in the game (for those smaller not so competitive players) to have a break from battling all the way through the night/watching those pesky logs. Not only does ending wars give a spring, it closes a chapter for people to walk away from a particular war with some sense of accomplishment, until the next time, of course.

Finally, I think many will agree with me the best part of a war is the planning and preparation, that first strike with everyone off nox with juicy stats and the initial reactions. That, maybe tedious after the 10th time, is still better than slogging it out with minimal stats on all sides for a few months. But, like HE said, EtL and him can keep that up for as long as they need, realistically and as they currently are, they can/will sit on you all and there's not a damn thing any of you can do about it (when both parties are online...).

I did some raiding and farming over a few days with that im rank 3 wasnt hard at all,infact the hardest thing is getting turns at the mo,gatewars isnt as hard to build now as a year back plenty to raid and farm,let them build soon as theve been massed it doesnt mean anything to me ile be massed ile build itl take me a few days but hey who cares,ile be in the top ranks again.
