Nice to see my work, on show.

What do you think of my personal Sig?
"Revolution 2011!!!"

The Normalcy Bias

The normalcy bias refers to an extreme mental state people enter when facing a disaster. It causes people to underestimate both the possibility of a disaster occurring and its possible effects. This often results in situations where people fail to adequately prepare for a disaster, and on a larger scale, the failure of the government to include the populace in its disaster preparations. The assumption that is made in the case of the normalcy bias is that since a disaster never has occurred that it never will occur. It also results in the inability of people to cope with a disaster once it occurs. People with a normalcy bias have difficulties reacting to something they have not experienced before. People also tend to interpret warnings in the most optimistic way possible, seizing on any ambiguities to infer a less serious situation.

Are you suffering from normalcy bias?

Alpha Snake, I know I promised that I would credit you under my sig and I did - for a day. But my friend Mango made me a new one too, and it fits in with the other First Realm sigs. After that it wouldn't let me put in any writing "Your signature is too long" so sorry. :(

@The_Silencer, the point is that I am a woman and as such am allowed to change my mind. :wink:

@Zekkely. I was 23. So it was 7 or 8 years ago.

No worries. If they want to know who made it, I'm sure they'll ask. :wink:

OMG PLEASE tell me your not being real ? I had this problem with my Dr.Who sig. THAT WASNT ANYTHING TO DO WITH THE WAR EITHER !!!!

THIS ONE WAS MADE BY IAN WATKINS [ the lead singer of a band called the Lost Prophets ] he was a Graphic Designer before he joined the band and he makes all the bands art work. It is why it says LOST PROPHETS ABOUT IT.

IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH NAZIs OR THE WAR OR ANYTHING LIKE THAT.

A very pissed off Bad Wolf

I didnt know :oops:
My apologies
