I kinda thought about that too, I remember beating Half-Life and the boss at the end reminded me a lot of this Xenu guy.

Here he is: Meet Xenu

Watch him meet his doom at the hands of some kid with a crowbar. :)

Eww.. that's like a tulip bulb + mandrake root combination, with an ugly flower on top..
Reminds me more of a Pokémon than a God, to be honest. :?

But this one isn't Xenu.. is it?! :| I mean, heck.. that's just weird..

Why continue to argue over this?

Morons or not, it's not the problem, they don't like at all psychiatry, it's their problem, why they fear, maybe reason? Who knows. If they want to believe it it's their loss but they chose it.

But the problem isn't here, they are just another sect.

Sects are wannabe religions, that's all.

If them 'fearing' psychology were the only thing, I don't think there'd be a problem. :)

Anyways.. everyone can recall how the first urban myths about Christianity were that they worshipped a donkey, ate children, drank blood.. all things, misunderstood by those commenting on it. It is as if describing a very high tech UFO as a "flying saucer". ;)

As for the fear of psychology.. I share it, and I would never voluntarily undergo any form of it again. Prying open one's mind, exposing one's very essence to the scrutiny of failing humans, it is all despicable.
But yes.. that is indeed just an opinion. I'll just tell stories, in which it is clear they are fantasy or fiction, and I'll be quite fine. A pity psychiatrists have a tendency to destroy what little humanity one has left at one point in time.. their methods are disruptive and murderous to the .. other human mind. And yes.. I was called an indigo before, although the psychologist wanted to keep me away from the psychiatrist. :) Ah well... there's one Psi Kiya Trist I do not dislike. As for the others. Epic failures.

Psychology mustn't have worked for you, but for less evolved humans such as me who haven't magical powers or aura (j/k lol :-D dont kill me  ) it works fine...at least I think so?? :?

Anyway, if they are so bad, who would replace them to solve people's desire to commite suicide; people who have sudden aggressive behaviour that came from nowhere; people with tendancy to torture themselves with scissors (emos?); and any person who thinks everyone hates him/her...?

World wouldn't be that good without them I suppose.

*kills Jim in a psychotic frenzy*
*revives him through magical means..*
Shared experiences.. aren't they great?

They'd die. Most likely at the hands of others, who can't take them anymore.
A bit of a rude generalisation about emo's, Jim.. as if they're all running with scissors.. :P (pardon the pun)

As good as what exactly? :? Surely you're not accepting this current state of the world?

Shared experiences are great indeed.

What I meant is that who'll be there to listen to and help the "lost people", those with big personal problem..

Not enough great people as you in this world, hence psychologists are needed.

And world is bad sure my mistake lol but I guess you see what I meant by that.

I just read up a little on scientology on the scientology official website.

I got about 6 or 7 chapters in. For the most part, it is writen like a story.

There was a section devoted on the "E-Meter":

An E-meter is an electronic device manufactured by the Church of Scientology at their Golden Era Productions facility. It is used as an aid by Dianetics and Scientology counselors and counselors-in-training in some forms of auditing, the application of the techniques of Dianetics and Scientology to another or to oneself for the express purpose of addressing spiritual issues. The device is formally known as the Hubbard Electrometer.[1]

A 1971 ruling of the United States District Court, District of Columbia (333 F. Supp. 357), specifically stated, "The E-meter has no proven usefulness in the diagnosis, treatment or prevention of any disease, nor is it medically or scientifically capable of improving any bodily function."

And these guys are meant to be representing "truth"?

I can actually picture tom cruise hooked up to one of these things, holding a pair of electrodes, telling the auditor how he feels.

I know that the followers of scientology feel that the E-meter is die hard proof that theatons actually exist, (assuming that was part of the chapters you read on the site) but the E-meter has as much credible medical or spiritual use as me saying I'm going to wave my hand over your forehead while I ask you ambiguous questions which I then use, no matter your answer to conclude that you are ailed with spiritual unrest. Then market my religion to you.

While my example sounds ridiculous keep in mind the only difference is that I used my hand in place of the E-meter.

It's good to see people at least try and give dianetics the benefit of the doubt when they do their research though. I just wish Scientologists were able to read into their own religion as reasonable and rational individuals do.
