"The army of england rape the country side of fance" its a metaphore/simily if you get the idea they are describing how it felt their land invaded like a woman being raped.
either way half of you think its funny because its never happened to you but its crushing when you hers both your sisters got raped.
but for 1 second think of who your saying it to you say it to the wrong person and could trigger a lot of the past.
im not saying to you stop it cos your all wrong and deserve it if you say it but there are rape victims everywere even on this game no matter where you are your always close to a rape victim.
just to end with a vaild point if i were to call you a rapist you would go balistic and hit the roof at me for calling you it so why say it to others?
you can say your not but if you say you got raped thats calling it on that person.
Who here thinks it is funny? I didn't count one person taking pleasure from it.

As I said. No one posting here has taken any joy in the word. It was discussed in a very civil and adult manner. The reasons it can be misunderstood or misrepresented have been discussed. There are a number of different views put forward and debated.

back down you miss his point both his sister got raped and your having a go at him do you really understand what is written there?
no you dont i do you dont reilise what hes saying:
people use cos its not deemed bad but it is i could make up a word and aslong as 10k people or more use it, it makes the dictionary the dictionary is forever changing and i doubt you have read the whole page any way and one more thing when did he say he was on about you or any1 in this post he was indicating the whole world go on xbox live and in every game or 2 you'll hear "oh my god i got raped hehehehehe" or "i raped you" hehehehehe read and read before you start on victims

So anyone ingame that use the description rape when they raid an account etc, is it ok if I call you a rapist???
because in your understanding that is what you are doing raping.
I'd also like to apologise if anyone gets upset by this thread due to any personal experiences.

ummm it is a word and it does have mutiple meanings. Umm if you look up the word and read its meaning you will see there are valid uses for it in SGW. UMMM I do belive I have heard the news, both national and international use this word.

They are facts. Look them up if you need to.
I do get his point and I am not attacking him I truly wish it didn't happen his sisters.
A very close friend of mine was KILLED by a drunk driver. Going by what you are saying I should be annoyed anytime I see the word 'kill' or even 'drunk' or maybe even 'driver'. Do I? No. Words are just on a screen or on paper. However, I do fear the action. I never get into a car with someone that even had the smalled sip of alcohol.

No ast hat has 2 different meanings allready. The word rape has many meanings in the eyes of the worls/community here. The word rapist however has only 1 meaning. Sorry to burst your bubble there mate

And well I can't say rape word is good to be seen...I rather prefer seeing idiot, moron, prick, retard, noob, jerk, ****er, nerd etc...
They are insults I know but word sounds less rude to me than "rape"

There's arguments for and against this. Ultimately, please remember that although you might not mean any offence, by the laws of most countries, the offence does not have to be meant for someone to find it offensive or harassing, and harrassment charges can be (and have been) successfully brought against individuals even though they may not have meant it in that way.
