LOL trying to scrape the barrel there Pops!

Passing the filter in a topic meant to complain to mods, wouldn't really be the place I would do it, considering he's on the side of complainers! :-D
Is it too hard to be polite in posts? :?

twit is hardly an offensive word, it's just another word for fool. No-one is going to cry over the word twit.

And I don't think he was using the word twit to bypass a "filter". i assume you are referring to the word 'tit'?
That is not an offensive word either, it is infact part of the female anatomy, if you didn't know that then you'd better go back to school.

Nah I meant another one commonly used to insult people in this game lol
Seen many times reports of it being used in angry ingame pms on the topics about angry pms.
I won't say it though, I can just say it's the third letter that changes.

It is just sad to see good mods ,the onesI respect a lot,to be associated with Auriel.

As for the other comment about Admins being able to remove her - yes, they could, but then people would cry foul for Mod/Admin corruption because the person they voted for was 'unfairly' removed. You see? The Forum staff just cannot win!

Do admins require a popularity vote to stay in charge? They are here to do their job. And their job is to prevent silly situations like this one.

I fail to see this, as I explained to you in the other topic, everyone lies or has lied in his/her life, and at least once or twice for very big one lie. That's part of humans being, the morale says we have not to, but we are made to lie at least few times, so it's just how long you'll can resist to lying and follow what "has to be done".

The point being that the Admins are shouted at by one set of people to allow certain things to be done by vote. Then, later on down the line, when some people decide they are not happy with it, they demand that the Admins do something about it - if the Admin obliges and, in this case, removes said person, then the community then screams about an abuse of Admin power and demands they be removed from their position. If they don't do something about then those who demanded that they should cry foul about mods being above the rules.

The point is that whatever they do, they will not please everyone! And no, they don't need a popularity vote, which is why they (and the rest of us) do things at time which make some people (generally those ignorant of the full facts) cry foul and claim mod abuse!

Now, as promised last night - LOCKED.

Well as section leader of the race mods and the one who lead the race mod elections at that time i must put my money in to. Auriel was nominated and in the poll elected by the community. No matter her attitude at the forums currently back then she was liked enough to be choosen. I remember the ancient poll had 1 grand winner and 2 runner ups. As squishie was global mod still back then he and i spoke and we agreed on giving auriel the 2nd race mod position.

Auriel is a race mod for a few months allready and i still have to recieve the first (legit) complaint about her. So far she did her job well in the race mod forums and i dont have doubt she will stop doing it now.

She got recognized since they got the blue colors. Well the color was a desision of one of the admins. Race mods do not see the mod area but have their own race area where they communicate (yes mods have access to that to) I agree that the mod staff represents sgw and maybe has a bigger status on the forums then some individual players. But in the end we volunteered for this job and got elected for it (wether by the community or by mods)

I give the final call on my fellow race mods and the people who know me know that i have my issues with Auriel but i do not see a reasson why she cant do her job as race mod currently. To be a race mod you have to be good in roleplaying and you have to be active in the race boards. So far all of them know how to roleplay and are active. Those are the requirements i set for my race mods and as long as they can forfill their role properly they stay as race mod.

Please for any complaints about the race mod section contact me. But will auriel be removed as race mod now? No.

just change her color and everything will be ok.

btw I dont think its Admins fault she became a mod. Its a flaw in the system that allows these things.

It like letting a conviced person to become a supervisor.

Now I really hate putting last words in a locked topic, but I have to inform you all, that Pink colour is still under consideration. If not pink but colour change at least.
I hope this will make some ppl happier.
