What? First you create a rather unneccessary ad thread to showcase your own nomination, and now your closing off ads for people because there are too many? Why make the thread in the first place, for silly ads that add little to the actual election beside post count and humorous pics that nobody takes seriously. We haven't even gotten to the voting yet. :?

Really, this is a little over the top, don't you all think? And I don't say that because I have no ads :P

I didn't think it'd get so big lol... I can't keep up with everything so I made a limit to ADs I will edit into the first post. Feel free to keep posting ads for your candidate or yourself even if no longer qualify for the 1st post. The rules are just for the first post. There can be unlimited ads posted here.

Lol, they are exuberant campaigners. How about spoilers for those candidates with ads? Then, people can open that candidates "ad section" at their own risk.

Continuing from the other thread, the one that actually had some level of seriousness to it, as opposed to this feast of emptiness:

Rev. Auriel Daniels wrote:

Aye.. one's got to admit that. :)

That said, the arguments presented to those valid points are generally.. lacking. :| Which is sad. Because really, if there are valid points, let's have a great and wonderful discussion, freely talking about how good and fair those points are, and how to solve potential issues resulting from discussing them. Etcetera..

Ah well.. I guess to be heard, one has to actually struggle and grab a megaphone.. maybe that works? And no, that's no criticism.. just that the 'big candidates' are generally the loudest yellers. One wonders whether that would be good for the community in the end. ;)
Of course, that was no accusation towards anyone perceived to be either a loud yeller or a 'big candidate'.. let's be fair, you don't get nominated for **Filtered** and gigglez.. even though that happened to a few here. :-)

One can only be curious to the end result. Who knows.. it may be surprising after all.

I am going to stay away from the Ombudsman Ads. If my actions and my names has to be in fancy lights for someone to make a choice then your making the wrong choice. If the people want me then I will learn and grow and become a better person for the experience. Thanks for the support.

I will be reading this thread for the laughs but will not take part in the ads.

I would want a vote from someone wanting and thinking I would do a good job than having a billboard flashing and it be the name you remember most.

+1 for cynicism

Not everyone thinks the way you do. He might/probably does not want to be associated with this thread. I can see where he's coming from with that.
