Because if that's the case, then why did I not make Biscuit a mod? He's pretty much one of, if not, my closest friends that plays this game. So why didn't I make him a mod? No no, I kid I really do. The real reason I chose her is because I felt that she would add something to my team that the others couldn't or wouldn't.

thats the point, i didnt think that was the job for the ombudsman or whatever its called, i was a mod when that position was created, and by what i remember, from what jason said about that position, that was not part of the job, and especially not firing mods, but maybe it changed

your telling me then, that the ombusdman is the leader of the mod team now?? i always thought it was the forum admins, smoosh and bazy, but like i said, it might have changed and i didnt see it

jack isn't the ombudsman anymore. he's a supermod, and section leader of Misc.

well, psi, i didnt know that, but even so, supermod and section leader, doesnt mean he could fire and hire ppl, for what i remember, it was all the supermods + forum admins voting in and out the other mods, not just 1 person, like hes saying

and again, to Earendil, im not saying auriel is a bad person, read my posts, im saying she did wrong to the community and was rewarded, and that is wrong, i believe that she is a nice person, personally i dont know her, so i cant say otherwise, i can only talk about what i see, and thats what i see

but many things have been wrong with this forum for long ago, so im not suprised

that's how previous administrations worked, we're not so sure about this one right now.

well, when i resigned, it was smoosh and bazzy the forum admins, they still are, so im thinking it is the same administration but i can be wrong, that happens sometimes, despite what ppl believe about the Nox lol

im all for 2nd chances, and i know auriel is trying to redeem herself for her "mistake", but being a mod is not a chore, its a privilege, if ppl think its a chore, they shouldnt be one, if you get the chance to delete posts, change posts etc, its a privilege, never think otherwise

I think he meant "if people were not given a second chance...", might have forgotten letters, it's frequent thing on forums to forget a letter or two; happend to me already afterall heh

i still believe the democratic way is better, but you guys know best, its not like theres tons of posts talking bad about the mod team and the system that is on effect right now

as a person getting in trouble for scamming people in the stock market with junk stocks, getting old ladies to buy, and dump them , pump and dump scams

then the guy comes clean and is forgiven by a small minority of people

guess what he is now going to help moderate a website for people buying stocks

i know this guy named charlie manson i think he is up for parole, he is really sweet and writes songs, i believe even California knows better then to forgive him

Sometimes I feel that people think I am not aware of this whole issue that happend and I am one of those newbies who find her cool...Heck I joined this game in february 2005 and been very regular forum member since then (my post counts on my old and current forum accounts says alot, total of 11k posts I have, not even counting the 1000s of posts I did who disappeared with forum cleanings) and been one of biggest supporters of Elladan during this issue, talked daily on msn about it...so again it's not like if I don't know anything about the issue. I know more than ANY of you who talk bad about her, because I notice MANY wrong things being said from you lot, you don't even know properly the issue you keep refering to and pointing out...lol!
If I say she's not at all the monster you all picture, I know what I say, I know her, you don't, period.
Instead of being stubborn on your opinions, you should actually listen to people who actually know her. One can know who's evil or not by getting infos from people who know this person, as they know more than one or two facts. Do you think everyone who is annoyed by all of this forgave her on day 1? Many people were against her, but they learnt that she's definitely not like this. And changed their mind. Because if you stay into your own ideas, you won't evolve, if you get to know her, you'll see your opinion is 100% wrong.
I don't know much people around who deserve more a mod spot than her, especially those who keep bashing, because dont get yourself wrong, doing it will not make you better!

People who compare Auriel to a child abuser or serial killer or say she's scum DEFINITELY dont deserve to be in respect group, or even pretend to be one of them! Or it means respect group is a JOKE!

You are in respect group, people in respect group dont have to insult people they keep their hate for themselves, that's main point of this group to counter rude people posts.
I think I'll resign from this group if its members are even ruder than "regular" banned people.

The fact that she is still here committed and trying and putting up with the likes of people like you 311 ,says more about her then any of the awful things you say.
