Yeah, these things need some sort of a defence advantage before people start buying, then crying because they thought it was safe.
And to whoever said this game is nolonger a game to be played, but an investment to be managed.. I think I agree

I wonder if this will allow people to have more than 11 planets, or whether the black market recognises how many planets the account currently has.

spending cash on resources is one thing, they can be used to get even at people etc etc, so losing that money is OK. if you buy a planet you don't do it because you wish to lose it, so it's one hecka of a difference.
personally i don't care, admin has allready killed planets all together

Just be sure you understand that bugs exist that mean if you lose the planet you may not be able to get it back even if you are suppose to, and admin will not refund your $$, your planet, the naq invested in said planet, nor has he fixed the bugs that causes the issue.
So buy at your own risk, because admin will not refund even when the fault is on his end.

Lol, he's just letting you know of a bug that exists, and isn't fixed. He's passionate about it, because he lost 2 duals he bought form the BM in this manner. And couldn't reclaim either of them due to the bug

Actually the fact it happened doesn't bother me, the reason I am "passionate" about it is Jasons total lack of caring, and utter refusal to even address the issue for months after it happened. It had already happened to others, was reported, happened to me, was immediately put right in front of him with all avalible information while it was all still in the logs, and he waits till all the logs are cleared by time to say " well i dont have the needed info to act so,,,,,,,,". Then he "attempts" something by putting a script in place to "watch and or record" such things, but it has continued to happened since then.
I don't care nor mind people supporting the game, its how it continues to exist. I just want you to know the truth. I just want you to know full well what will happen in certain situations so you can make a better informed decision, and no one where you blindly believe that certain basic customer rights exist that most definitely do not.
When I bought my planets they were tiny and Did have stats, small and crappy but still stats.

I disagree.
There was a "checker" put inplace to log unsuccessful reclaims of recently stolen planets.
I do not know why you continue to claim that the normal attack logs would have helped as they do not contain the information requiered to even confirm or replicate the bug.
All you see there is:
X stole a planet from Y on MMDDYY
Unsuccessful attempts at taking the planet back were NOT logged. They are logged now though.
I honestly do not see how this is helpful to even confirm the bug. Can you explain that to us please?
I also do not understand, what makes a planet bought with $ worthy of more protection that a planet found by your MS or stolen from someone else?
