I wonder if that means he could effectively ascend to Origin of Existence a 2nd time?

There used to be an actual limit of ascensions one could do; like ascend to LG+4, change to an unascended race and then only be able to ascend to Prior again. (When there were only 10 levels.)

Well, if that changed (which is likely, since dude ascended 21 times) it's likely he can ascend again, to Origin, yes.

No, I am not building up or have used the 'Wayward' Account. No officers, no commanders, very little build up to see the % increase bonus. Yes I did get a bonus. No I do not want use it. Unless I get permission.

Yes, I was warned me that it was not possible by several. But it was more or less probability over fact. And I simply had to try it. I didn't know it would Piggy-back from my Officers place in the Ascension Chain. I simply thought that it was some sort of secret that was designed. I did not know it would have such severe yet side effects.

Yeah, who knows, there is always a chance that this could open up the door way to the next wave of ascensions.

I did ascend 21 times. No matter how you look at it. I am amazed by this myself. Lets say I laughed but in a depressed sad way. I know it was a goof, but I had a hunch. Even if they were to revert me back to before I ascended, I am still the first one to go beyond the realm of the game, over a small, barely noticed glitch. That glitch was that door way.

What ever Jason decides to do, I will go with it proudly.

But I think the title just reverted back to LG because there were no new titles after Origin and it reverted back to LG because that's what the game was set to have from the 5th to 9th ascensions.

I seriously doubt it had anything to do with what ascension title your officer had.

It is a very logical explanation. I think if I did it through a prior I would have been a prophet. The game has set up the variables for future ascensions, if I got a requirement of 180k UP a day. Since I used my officer, I basically ascended for him and took his place without using his glory.

LOL congrats DD for achieving the thought impossible... but what is that 'special'? I hope not an bonus feat which allows you to totally clear out others in one big swoop?

so were your costs to ascend more then the 20th, or the cost of the officers ascension?

Someone should be able to test the skipping/piggy back thoughts on the by being lower (prophet for example) and trying to ascend using the link on higher officer (AG or EAG for example) and see if the title skips up as well.

If your cost to ascend were increased compared to your last one, I would have to think it is just an issue with the title being set to a default on the next slots (ie 21, 22, 23 etc).

If the cost to ascend was = to the cost of the officers ascension level then I would believe the piggy back theory.

And to clarify did you get another 1% bonus as all the ones past lg do, or did you get a 5% bonus like the office would have?

Well, what happened when I ascended was that the requirement box was at 180k, but since there wasn't a title let alone my own red box, I ascended to his next place in the ascended chain, with the bonuses of a 21st ascended player.

I've recently check the Main SGW Updates, they've extended the ascension from 20 to 22, well to tell ya what they exactly said:

Feb 2009 - Max Ascensions
The maximum number of ascensions has been increased to 22 (from 20).
The bonus structure remains the same...

just learned this now.
