I expected old school sgw, this is completely different and seems to get further from old school sgw every patch.

Trouble with old school sgw is everyone would have gotten bored - I'm talking c. April 05 - very few turns, people could transfer goods, covert was untouchable; people just built very high UPs and spy lvls with no need for defs.

This is old school enough....but with a decent twist. I'm willing to see how things pan out.

How many people with over 100UPs now? Better start work on mine again....trouble is each upgrade costs the same as spy lvl 7

I am only at Unit Production 65 /day (65 total). It costs me enough atm . What is the biggest army size atm?

UP is 91 here

I am still playing, only very loosely though, I log in maybe once or twice a day.

To be honest, as predicted the PPT farm fest happened so some people got lucky and now have disgusting leads without any margin of thought or skill .. and there are still a lot of things in the game that have not been addressed correctly that are still problems.

I have faith things might turn around though..

btw. UP here is 80. My army size is somewhere in the region of 1800, but thanks to the Drunk Monkies and Qacol taking things cross server I am about 150 units short

Hopefully when main is less busy I can really get into it and the role play!

You guys should start catching up with me soon....gonna be taking it slowly for a while....just found a slight problem with my MA dissertation. Apparently there is a PhD from a previous Durham lecturer in the Cathedral Store which is identical to what I was going to do.....bugger. There goes a few months work out the window.

OUCH! lol... I presume you had actually started writing it? How far were you into it? Research proposal and beyond?

Nah, just the proposal so far. It could have been a lot worse. Weird thing is I don't think my lecturer knew it existed because otherwise he'd have told me, so if I'd just kept my mouth shut about it, I might have gotten away with doing it. lol.

The timing of it is so funny though. I found the other PhD thesis this afternoon - I have to do a presentation on my research proposal tommorrow morning....hmm, "here's one I made earlier"

I take it your research proposal is only like 1k words then? So it wont be too disastrous, even so though the research used and time lost is a blow. I am debating whether to do a dissertation next year or not myself.
