I'm not sure the reps are that disadvantaged - but Goa'uld do appear to be - take a look at this proposal - which received a lot of support at the time.....

shouldnt repls get cheapers covert units instead of being the usual 3500 , asgard and tauri get cheaper attack and defence units

yes, i also thing Unique techs are too "weak" for reps and goa'ulds

i have a wierd idea for reps unique tech:

when you SPY on someone, there's 15% chance (at most) to steal non-rep-opponents a tech (ordinary as unique) for 6 hours
while you have it, you cant "steal" other
but you can erase it from your memmory and steal another after 1h (erasing takes time )
and you can steal any tech exept ascended beeings special tech

i dont have any idea for goa'ulds special tech, sry

i agree with most being a Goa'uld the UM is quite sad but when attacking larger ppls who just ascended u do make alot of men sometimes between 600-900 usually the asguard and tauri techs are fine we just need to give a little extra to reps and Goa'uld i dunno bouts everyone else but Goa'uld are an income race so maybe 20% extra income 5% cheaper weapons or something i dunno i just know it is slightly unfair to Goa'uld and moreso to those poor reps

so what do you think shoulc be done then?

1. Why the hell reviving a dead thread?
2. Repli's have the advantage of 25% reduction on covert and anti-covert level costs, and bonuses of them, which can be fine. Also, that reduction can be MASSIVE at the levels a lot of regular forum-posters are working at. Figure out: 25% of 100 bil = 25 bil, 200 = 50 bil, 400 (level 27) = 100 bil, at level 28 you get an reduction of 200 BILLION naq.
