its better to store the naq in wepons than UM

Weapons get damaged though. Attack weapons doesn't get damaged, provided you don't attack. I do agree that UM is a very desperate way to keep naq, you lose 33% of naq that way. On weapons, you lose 15-20%.

Read the ascension thread (http://herebegames.com/StarGateWars/vie ... hp?t=29148) and think why UM may be useful. What you keep, what you lose? Think.

Nothing goes to waste when you ascend, everything you own gets converted into points, and then they are lost into the ether. What do you lose? Re-read that thread again, grasshopper. *strokes beard* Point 4: "What happens after Ascension", in particular. If you still haven't figured it out, well, can't help you there.

i know they are useless and only artificially boost your army size. i thot someone hinted that the actually got a useful function in relaton to asc

then you should make some calculations
and if you did them already then try redoing them, because i can assure you, they are worth it.
