Yes. It was interesting to see how well you fared against our B-selection. :P

well with Portugal who beat spain 4-0 with at lest one disallowed you might have an upset with one dropping out

and then there Denmark all 3 will be resting players against them they could top the group steal 9 points easy

as for good olde England they have to play the Ukraine who'll be home and their fans are as hostile as it gets
England gets a France repeat for an opening game, take in account England have never won an opening game in a finals tournament then they have the mighty Sweden who've only lost once to England and they pretty much kicked ass in that match very easily could have been 4-1

Group B is the hardest and Group A the easiest (if I may say so).

I think this group B is a playground to see what Portugal team can achieve. There they have two top level opponents (Germany and Netherlands) and a matching third (Denmark - who finished above Portugal in qualifyings lol)

i believe the two host nations classed themselves as group 1 teams along with spain and netherlands (rank 1 and 2) so therefore germany and the rest were either group 2 or 3. Its a bit silly in the Euro's with only 4 groups, but im confident Germany and netherlands will emerge from the group if im honest.

I quite agree. Automatic qualification for host nations should really be removed, if it were up to me. :) It is unbalancing. Neither Ukraine nor Poland would finish top 10, I dare say.

they said that about greece in 04 and they smashed even though they wern't the hosts it was their first ever major finals tournament and they trumped the host nation twice

and well footbal is no longer this team is good that team is rubbish pretty much all teams are on the same line now and 4 points is enough to go through on (in second place)

arguable Poland is just another Switzerland that may walk away with a crummy 3 points given to them but i think every team have an equal chance in getting through i wouldn't rule out any of them

As Rocky said.

Also, HiEL; also written as "Heil", is the thing you want to say to a German if you want to provoke one of two reactions: 1. your conversation partner walks away quietly and won't talk to you for a few days at least; or 2. your conversation partner hits you in the face.
Option 3 and 4 are interesting; 3. enthusiastically greets you back since "heil" really just means "Hi"; 4. snaps to attention (your turn to walk away quietly).

;)

Whilst I'm excited for the new generation of players, especially in the German team. I still feel sad for players like Thierry Henry, Ronaldo (the original), Figo, Roberto Carlos, Ballack who were always such a presence.

I agree such players were quite amazing players (well Ronaldo & Roberto Carlos had very little chance to ever appear in Euro though :-D ). There's still CR7 though!
