You haven't said anything about Empires. You just happened to pick a few Empires from history, as an example of "human things". You could've picked a chair. Or the Voyager, Viking probes. Or the moon. Or the universe itself. Arrogant? Perhaps. Truth is that by existing, we have influenced the universe. It has become a 'human thing', just as you are a 'duck thing' because ducks have influenced your life.

From oligarchy in ancient greece and Rome, to imperialism during 1850-1910, it's always been a small part of population that led. Even during revolutions, it was led by other elites who wanted to have the power turn in their advantage.

This is human nature...lead or be led...whatever means are used as way to make it happen..

Yes EU will fall. And that is an undeniable fact. Wether it be today, tomorrow or in some other future.. it doesnt matter. I simply answered your question in a closed context because it is a closed question.
