This is a FACT....

Joining an empire makes you a target. Lesson # 2 in human nature - everyone wants to kill the king of the hill. Hiders as they have been called are drains on resources and well managed alliances broom them quickly.

The hiders to me never step up and try toy make a mark on the game , and they sure as heck do not last in empires.

Show me an empire made up of hiders and I show you my best list of farms.

Ill agree with that to this point, you folks pulled that stunt 2 years ago gave me such a fierce desire to play all out it changed the way the game is played and contributed greatly to the current DDE stature.

I'm not saying this because 'Deerok' sides with me on this topic, but what a sad way to be Jedi. I mean I've already said on this thread that EVERYBODY'S voice should be heard on this forum. Its a forum, which is a means to express opinion.

Please stay on topic and stop trying to throw your weight around.

@ Gunz - I agree it does make you a target for sure, you can get brought into wars you might not agree with and you could also get farmed more in some cases. I do guess the 'hiders' might not have the same drive to reach the top as the 'Seekers' shall we say. Thankfully.

"oh and btw. you have 24 hours to return the naq equivalent of the UU you killed or when my ppt ends, I will wipe your account :) and as an added incentive, as you probably know, the server war is over so we now have the entire Empire ready for planet taking ;)"

I'd consider that Empire hiding ;)

They couldn't just threaten me by themselves, they had to bring in their empire on the act. How skilled

Im glad you have finally picked up on my 'Success' rant, Because yes we did teach you many things at the BWP/BWB. I did feel after you bought your account you left things in a bad manner, and I do feel you could have maybe dealt with things a little better, But maybe this is for PMs between me and you rather than a thread that has nothing to do with this.

I really love to talk to you about this, and I do have alot of things to say to you.

:? this thread adds more thoughts to my already annoying debate about what alliance to join

The big empires are the easiest, strongest and best way to play the game for profit, and villain empires will always have more members, because they are more fun to be in generally and dont care who they farm.

I joined Genesis because I thought it was a stand against that style of playing, kudos to gunz for that. But in the end i followed a friend out after a short while.
I helped create DOJ because i thought it would similarly stay small and with just tight knit members who were all good guys.
Along the road we lost our way firstly i was too tempted to create an empire which was starting to look good.
Then we hit the main difficulty with trying to run Hero alliances/empires- Soon enough you run into DDE/OE, or you just get bored and want to have some fun XD.

Hmm.... im rambling. I need to change the song.
Changing from calming British folk to loud American punk rock.

Ah **Filtered** it, do whats fun in the game for you. Who wants a massing?! XD

Nah, too far.... Change song again :?
Changing now to nice loud sing along uni songs

Who cares what alliance/empire your in, just as long as your with people you love.

DAMN! Im sure il find a song soon enough that will make me decide once and for all.

"enjoy the people"
*reports JT*
XD

I do think thats the bottom line though.
You may argue its ruining the game having empires, that may be true yeah, but at the end of the game they are nothing compared to Jason. Empires are just making the most of the little they have and having fun.

Also, your not going to get all empires to suddenly disband, just like you cant ask everyone to get rid of Nukes.

Much Love
Jim

People aren't afraid of the Big Empires for no reason, and it's not simply because we have many members that we're so powerful. mH is a part of OE and yet remains a distinct and individual alliance as would any other single alliance not a part of an empire.

I still fail to see how large empires ruin the game as claimed in the first post so I can't really think of anything else to say..
