the mods that are not part of a war generally do not read those threads.

But they are a Mod for the General section that covers the GC. So really they should be reading posts. Although I can understand why some don't when there's 100 page long threads of dribble.

Still waiting for Almost38's examples of who is biased and how he thinks things should change.....

I'm saying it's a two-way street,
and I'd rather not show you,
as most of the leadership involved are my friends...

suffice it to say, even when they are not posting on an official basis,

the "forum staff team" is by default expected to behave at least as well as the respect group, and sometimes they fall short...

just as when I am off the clock in my retail job,
I still have to act very professional as long as I am in uniform, or on the property...

And since we generally know each other, it's like a very small town...
A mod on the main forums can't just post anything they want to on the alliance forums of the people they hate.


I've seen worse in years past...
I'm not trying to pretend otherwise...

but it does seem to be trending downhill for a quite a while now.

I attribute some of this to frustration
to shortcomings with the game environment as well:

the lack of years-overdue security updates,
lack of years-overdue bug updates,
the lack of new players,
the lack of improvement updates,

and in general, the sense that Admin Jason doesn't really know or care what the community thinks or wants...

and since Admin Jason is not here to take the flack,
I think sometimes the frustration by the users
is sometimes unleashed on the forum staff team...
and on other users.

Being a Mod is like a curse...

There are about 4 mods that I can think of that love what they do, they do it for justice and they are spot on.

The rest are lazy who merely wanted a color to their name, they do very little a fail to represent the forum community.

This said, I could never bring myself to being active enough to moderate some of the crap that goes on this forum!

add in 20 gallons of Tetrismonkey's wise suggestion,

1 barrel of negative forum member history toward the forum staff team, among others,

add 1 tablespoon of venting at Admin Jason from people like myself,

2 boxes of rule violations, 1 box of rule violations reporting, and 1 box of rule violations fallout,

sift through recently returning members to find another gallon of negative history,

bring to a boil 2 large cans of chopped up spam temple,

mix in 5 large jars of spam temple fallout,

throw in a dash of Tetrismonkey's sig quotes of Mordack,

(which Clarkey apparently forgets about all of a sudden,
but hey, props to him for letting go.)

stir in 2 cups of fignuts,

bake at 350 degrees for several months,

and it's a wonder that things work as well as they do...

Of course i have let go, what would be the point in continuing with it? Monkey is the person that's sad enough to remind himself of me in every post he makes because he's got it glued in his sig. He IS the only Mod that I believe is biased, but only biased towards me. You could say that i'm biased with that view, but the evidence is clear...bullying, antagonising, harrassment = bias.

But, as for this thread....... oh where has Almost38 gone?
It's that surprising... he creates a thread crying about biased, lets it stir a few things up and disappears. Hey Almost where is this examples and suggestions were all waiting for you fool? How will anyone take you seriously if you start a thread like this then leave it without giving anything substanital to it.

Soooo... 36 out of 56 people..... man you're right, the community does think there's a problem. The question is, why has the other people not voted? Maybe because they don't believe there is much of a problem.

Almost you are claiming the mods are biased, yet you seem to group the mods together and refer to the "team" as biased. Why is that fair? Why label all mods as biased?

How have you tried to get this forum to change? By making these polls? By complaining in the Oms section? Have you provided any constructive comments and suggestions?

I would recommend that you stop labelling the entire team as biased, and stop indicating that 36 out of 56 people that have voted yes are representing the entire community. (P.S. What have you done to prevent forum multies voting in this poll... I'll tell you... nothing..... therefore this poll has 0 credibility whatsoever).
