Jason has the idea of updates to try keep the game fresh, nice idea but really he doesn't see the consequence of what the updates do accept $$ in his pocket and 100110, yes he listens to the community but does he do much no, JT has the idea of bring the leaders *the wise ones of this game* together to throw ideas around and get them in order of how to bring this game to its peek again.

What i say is dont forget the past of this game look at it what was great about it, but look forward of what this game could be, its power house v small guttey players at the mo we need to level the field but not to much as the people who worked there asses off to get there account somewhere then they would feel down hearted but meh.

i agree the covert levels are killing it, and house are an idea if the house wars accauly happened for once but they haven't and wont happen. and many other things that need scarping.

yes semper said we lost the thing this game was about *not ours and not jasons Stagate was the theme and where trying to hard to keep hold of it, but we cant its like holding on to that toy or blanky you grew up with eventually you have to let go of it as the same with stargate theme of the game, we have had it for 4years + and then lost it because of the laws and shizz so then we move on, we forget the sg theme and move on we need to think forward whilst using the past as a guide, we need something to grab ahold of as maybe a new theme or new direction to bring new people in to the game while keeping the old, hard i know but it needs to be said and done.

For those of you suggesting updates remember that you have to actually suggest updates that will help everyone, not just you. You don't like Houses because you don't get much out of them? Cool. Perhaps other players do. That is of course what discussing them is for, but please do not get solidified in your opinions about what is good and bad after just thinking about it yourself.

i think the best way to have uninterrupted talks between GC reps would be for someone to make a forum specifically for the GC reps. Nothing special, just a simple freeforum, could be done within minutes. And only give the address to the reps which are within the GC.

Would make for easy convos and setting up the msn meets.

I'm sorry, I don't think an MSN meet with this large of a group is really going to be possible

Think about it...
Even if you only have 2 reps from each Empire you're talking at least 24 people

And if you have CO and 2iC from each alliance, you're talking more like 60 people
Because right now, there are 30 alliances involved in this

A forum to talk in is a much more reasonable idea for that many people
Even if only two-thirds or only half of the 60 people show up, it will be so much easier than trying to get those people together on MSN
I say, lets get a simple, free forum, that will allow us to truly discuss ideas in a reasonable way
Without all the extra voices that are here on this forum

According to JT, a forum is in the works and I agree with you. It would make things easier.

The houses balance power towards the more powerful - that seems to be a general concensus that goes beyond the individual in my opinion

GMT it is So is there a meet? I also have a server and a php system at my disposal if ye want a free and dedicated hosted forum free of ads and spammage

yea i agree a forum is best. good to hear one is already in the works. I can point blank tell you a msn convo will be hell. even if only half the reps show up, there will be some SERIOUS lag in that convo. IRC for chat would be much better.

it depends on the attidude, and dedication. and Jt started this and he has dedication.

This idea was mainly started to get more new people to join the game. with attidues like yours that will never happen. This idea is good and with the proper attitude/determination it will work.

We need new players, otherwise the game will die. and none of us want to see that happen. so more positive things guys. .

Ill get on it asap - just need to prep the install files the url wont be new - it will just be an extention of my main site but it will be a seperate and completely new forum

It was more of a generalized statement using houses as an example. Although I do disagree. Actually I don't really have an opinion on houses, but I don't see how they make the powerful players more powerful as you claim?

I suppose this can be saved for later.
