just cause it has "war" in the game's net address does not necessarily imply that the only thing the game is about. And to make that expectation on others certainly would make that view asinine at best, especially in a MMO.

In my opinion the excuse for starting this war is random at best. For someone that believes its a "war" game to challenge another that doesn't, sure makes you weak, more so then the ones that don't want to war. Take on someone(s) that suits you're feelings on the game and stop being a bullying.

Well they did...but what they destroyed is not worth boasting about...and yes, I'm hypocticial and by challenging them, I'm no better...difference is, I'm not doing this for military experience. I'm doing this because we have a couple of nubbin' that never did anything in the old day and then try to enforce their old ways on people who aren't from the old way...I hated the educators, I hated random massing...I stand for a way that allows everybody to enjoy the game. They were hurting nobody.

Besides, what is the point of building numbers if you're not going to do anything with them? Hm? If that's what anyone wants, they could as well stare at a clock and have the same justifiable 'sense of achievement' (i.e. none at all). I don't see what the 'web address' would have to do with this?

More nonsense. You don't play 'Risk' by sitting with your provinces, gathering troops, more troops, and even more troops, and then start whining when you're attacked by someone who has a conflicting interest, or just feels like it? And even when you do, other people are not supposed to agree with that whining. (Not saying you're whining, btw, I know the difference between expressing your -flawed! - opinion and whining..)

Fact remains:
If you want to sit and build, fine. No worries.
If you want to attack people, fine. No worries.

But wait, that's not the reality. The reality is that certain people start crying when you attack them. Makes it more fun, if you ask me, but apparently being a whining baby is cause for support by 'bigger people'.
Hell, Paul(lol..*2) and co can mass anyone they want. If you want to mass them for whatever reason (you don't like them, you want to have fun, you feel they 'violated on of the core tenets of the freedom to play'), mass them. Don't **Filtered** about them. That's just no fun.

Boast? They didn't boast. They announced. Did they say "OMG IM SO AWESUM FOR MASSING AA"? Nuh-uh. So yeah. Not really boasting then, is it? Just massing someone and telling people they did, and why.

Of course, if you were looking to build your reputation as a Big Powerful Fighter, then yes. You would have to go after that Behemoth you proposed as option a). If you're looking to have fun about people who whine about you having fun.. then you go for option b) and post it up. Never fails!

Since when is it a requirement to 'hurt' someone to get massed? This is not about 'old way' vs. 'new way'. Nothing has changed. People might be whining louder, sure. Perhaps a few people who started playing were never properly introduced to it. But that's not a change in the game itself. At all.

They announced it, which is exactly what I was getting at..I mass people often, I destroy smaller targets that threaten our empire. I do not feel the necessity to post it on the forums. You do that when you are doing something you feel is big and brave, to show your exploits to the rest of the community. I would not do it for massing an alliance such as ascended assembly. For this reason, I believe they are boasting. At least that is how I am going to define it.

If you don't have targets that you don't have an excuse to hit, your not playing the game properly. There are 101 people who want to hit me right now, I imagine I can add The Corporation to this list now. I have never found myself wanting to mass somebody because there is no reason. These guys are nubbin', plain and simple

I initially chose SDA because I was bored and he tried to recruit us...how big or small he was didnt affect that decision. Not being cowardly at all.

We didnt wish to boast about it... if I had, I would have included logs... the only one I've seen posted from me is the "TheDoctor vs Master" one I posted. And this is not about Military Experience (not for me... I just want a challenge, for them to fight back... I'd even go me alone vs AA if they so wished).

And there is an option c. Go for the average armies, where there may be no clear winner... the only real advantage we had was Eternity, and he's on vac currently.

They are all capable of defending themselves, and I'm fairly sure if they wished to, they could mass us back...give us a challenge... which is what I want. Not for them to become massing machines, but just to fight back. I'm sure in real life, others won't always be available to hire to fight for you.

To Ascended Assembly, do some of your own work, even if you just want to on me I've been logging in hoping to find my defence at 0, with my other stats trailing close behind, at the hands of one or more of the current members of AA

I dont know what you dont understand from the "GROWING ALLIANCE".
SDA told you that WE dont want and cant fight back. Like FM and others said, you could take on some members that CAN fight back...

I for example im ascending.I wont use my naq/uus for your fun. If i will be able to get to Unknown i will give you a fight to last until this game will get to dust.
