and yes, we did consider HVE due to their more peaceful nature.. but then we would have been faced with the same boredom a few months down the road because we essentially would have been doing the same thing only on a bigger scale with new people. We considered DDE but, well, their style of play was a bit too aggressive and we didnt believe it would be a good match that everyone on both sides would have been happy with. OE was chosen in part because of their more agressive style of play which would be a refreshing change of pace and we would be able to avoid comments about us like "I thought T I T A N S were just stat builders"
Please, make no mistake, we did not want to remain constantly in peace non do we want to remain constantly in war.. but a nice blend of the two. we do not wish to remain "stat builders" and setting peace with everyone. This is a war game. We have learned the growth aspect of it and done well in that department... OE has done it's fair share of war.. .Like the topic says "Change is in the air.." with this change we will make more friends, and learn new styles of playing the game that we all seem to love and be addicted to.
Please, anyone from no matter what alliance you belong to, keep this a clean announcement. However, i would like to thank Guild for his posts as it raised questions that I am sure many might have had about the logic behind my post. I do sincerely thank you as this gave me an opportunity to explain my logic. If there are ever any questions about posts i make, i am always happy to explain, usually in more detail than anyone wants... Misunderstandings are the primary cause of REAL wars.. and with that in mind, i dont like there to every be any misunderstandings with any of my posts here.
