WHY do other alliances have to be dragged into it?

DDE vs OE is a war that has never been before (as far as I know) it should be pure, the war of wars...the cherry on the cake...

I'd love to see how that goes...I have the popcorn and soda ready

I have been told by a DDE member that OE have betrayed DDE. The fact is there is no relationship to betray. And remember, when Mayhem were removed from OE, JT offered them a place in DDE. Since FUALL actually existed then, THAT was a betrayal!

And then we come to the present day, DDE's leadership saw what it wanted to see, 4 Omegans active and thought it would be a good idea to end the NaP. And we saw where all that led to, loads of drama!

As for DC, they were an obvious fit with the OE, they are old hands familiar with OE since the FUALL days, and unlike SOME alliances, we consider the fact that it's the man or woman that makes the account, and not the reverse.

As for apologising, they already did. They gave up the name DXM and so on. Remember, OE have been in just this position, with Gunz and Genesis and so on. We could have done exactly as you all did and sat on Genesis, but even then we realised that sure what Gunz did was not acceptable, but the members who had left were once our brothers. I personally forgave what happened a long time ago. But unlike our situation, DXM had legitimate reasons for leaving DDE. Perhaps they were wrong for taking the name, but they apologised and changed their name.

And that should have been that!

i wasnt happy at the DDE at the time, activity had dropped into the toilet, i didnt like being told that i would have to use my ppt at a certain time and when JT wouldnt bother answering one simple question while being online and tlking to other people... i know im not a great player with an amazing account but hell im more than willing to learn it kinda makes you feel pissed off

particularly after we surrendered the first time and you guys still massed us... its not like we were hitting you after all that i can understand

i can only speak for me of course but thats how it felt to me

I may have missed something there, can't remember seeing a surrender, although I do tend to have to disappear quite often due to rl commitments, may have been during the time i was moving house etc...

its quite likely if there was a surrender and then it all escalated gain, it would be because of forum dramas, it usually is...hohum

Seriously though, with OE taking in DC, and as its seemingly on the brink of war, who do you think would be at the top ranks after a week if they start this Monday?

And don't give me the ranks mean nothing speech, they've been tip toeing around one another the last week for rank 1 like a bunch of fairies

That wouldn't kick off a war, they can take the in..but the ones that merged while the DDE DC war is on are not covered by the dra

Open war between OE and DDE ? Highly unlikely IMO, still some good old friendships & respect between several senior members, and both sides know it would be unwinnable as neither could ever afford to back down. Would be far better to resolve any disputes in private with team battles.

That said, if it did kick off it would escalate. When two empires clash they both end up with members thinking they have 'nothing to lose' and getting mass-happy, sooner or later these members mass someone outside the war for whatever reason, and those people join the opposite side.

Where is that respect? Didn't OE just take in DDE enemies into their alliance?
