Re: Tournament 5: Team Deathmatch

i swear to god. this tournament is set up so the lower players mass a guy while phased every turn for 6 hours.

then one guy comes in puts a bullet in the **Filtered** toe, and gets the kill.

this is bull.

im not bothering to play this anymore.

i killed 499,952,000 defenders off a guy only to have the last hit by someone within 2 seconds.

The term vulturing is for the n00b who cant protect his **Filtered**. Build a defense your enemy cannot mass. If he masses it. Keep rebuilding the same def. never stop massing him. The n00b youre facing will eventually go inactive. (Dont worry. Hell find the courage to rebuild once the war is over.)

I know who you're talking about Mr Widow and I massed him first...as can be seen by the fact that I got the planets for the kill ;)

that was the cake topping...

it was the 7th kill i "barely" missed.

and the 499 was another guy. just my worst case scenario of all 7.

7th kill you barely missed... so you've burned 7k turns in this tourney so far? because it takes just over 1000 to mass a player from fully built to under 500,000 defence planets :P

lol caught out much? :P

i realized i miscalculated, i also didnt realize it was most planets destroyed.

but i do notice its a team emphasis. so when i said 7 and miscalculated, was more like 4 with thinking its most planets that mattered. i found guys with 120m planets left in def, and sat for hours hitting every turn till phased, when you count the number of guys while not getting major planet kills, still spent the bulk DMing and hunt assasining, since i cannot mass desteuct. then yes, i had 7 people get kills where i sat for hours massing it.

and i now know why, as a Unit, i set up our abilities for specific actions to make it easier to conduct team double and triple teams. well, for some reason, our unit cannot choose Mass Destruction as an ability. and ive seen several players use it on me.

so i sit here doing it the hard way because the game wouldnt let our leader choose the action. wasting hours of effort, when all i had to do was kill off about 400m off all the bottom rank guys and eventually those that dont log in and get killed off i get the kills automatically.

thats the dumbest feature in a game ive ever heard. has nothing to do with actual skill when it comes tokilling offline players... its just who gets the bulk of army first, aquiring more planets. shoulda just introduced a RAID feature like the old days of ascended.

at least in main u can login and repair.

i have yet another reason to ignore the ascended server.
but im not a quiter, so ill give it a good try anyway.

Who would you rather give the planets to? The player who kills 400m supes or the one who kills 100m super and snipes the kill on the turn change?

It does take some skill to mass these players and make a PROFIT in planets, especially now that the planets are split between your teammates too.

My team got wiped out and I'm all alone.
Problem is our team couldn't change abilitys so we got stuck watching.. :(

I've been a sitting duck this whole tournament unable to attack or recon etc....

I do like the general concept of this tournament, but how about in the next one we have postions instead of abilities.

So imagine your defending your team planet which is represented by either 8 postions (octogon shape) or 4 postions (square shape) depending on team sizes.

Your leader puts you into a postion (Maybe each postions has a enhanced ability).

Once a postion has ben destroyed (player eliminated) then the team lose X amount of planets and the attacking team recieve X amount of planets.

Something like that....

We had a team?
I was largely inactive. Only attempted to mass two people because I couldnt resist having a pop at Jo and because I had to have a go at dark hero to show I care about the war thing thats going on.

You did less than half the work on me though cali you backstabber :D

19th place in the 5th arena.
Still Number 1.
