My dad is an engineer making over 150k a year lol he has a decent bit of disposable income.
Second, that's a bit of an underestimation there Jason on what HE has spent haha.
Lots of us spend money, it is our choice of course to invest in something that matters to us, even if we'll never get our money back.
I admit I personally will never understand how someone finds it entertaining to go god mode on a bunch of inactive/semi-active accounts to show how tough and scary they are. Even just for fun. If you want to mass people that just sit there and do nothing, there's an entire dev server for that. I know people will go cheer you on for destroying that noob's account ensuring that instead of him logging in once or twice a week, he'll just give up this game once and for all. I'm sure you'll feel pride that you got so much ME with no resistance and I'm sure your friends will all come to the forum and once again remind us all that this is a war game and should be treated as such.
In the end though, all you are proving is that you get your jollies out of empty meaningless fights. Who knows, maybe someone different in your empire will actually get the courage to mass something out of this...though I doubt it.
You know I remember a couple years ago when OE outlawed random massing to prove they were maturing as an empire and going to focus on their actual enemies instead of people who had done nothing to them. Hell, even last year, your leadership swore up and down that it was not the old aggressive alliance out for blood. Funny the difference between the recruiting drive and actual fact eh? Sad thing was, I think some of your HC even believed that your empire had turned over a new leaf. Idealism always gets crushed in the end doesn't it?
I hope everyone that celebrates Easter enjoys their holiday away from this game and from the people who find joy in destruction on a day that is supposed to be for reflection and spending time with loved ones. Or at the very least for eating chocolate and kidnapping large rabbits...

I think I'm turning into one of the good guys...
What kind of engineer is that...JasonJay wrote:He has a point, the average engineering salary is like 100k$ a year. So a real good one can earn like 250k$ a year. I know a few engineers here in the UK, none of them come anywhere near £150k as a salary!
In all fairness, my work load limits me to a few hours a week these days. I certainly do not know many people who run business that could commit that sort of time to playing this game![]()
It's amazing, what a stir one person can make. HE really has got the whole server talking and made OE the team to beat. It's been a while. Kudos.
Back on subject, as a newly "re-formed" alliance, I would imagine we are right up there on the list. The Warlords of Briton should be on PPT throughout the Sunday and immediately after. I hope that you can contain your hostilities to a single event and that your desire for ME is sufficiently quashed.
However, heed this as a warning. We will meet any aggression with the same force. However, I will promise you, it may or may not be immediately. It will most likely be when you least want it and I cannot assure you that it will not be pretty, we may have no stats or planets for you to play with. It may just be me using double strike to kill whatever I can. Trust me when I say, I can be a pain. You may not have been here HE, but your friends were.
Anyway, with that said. I acknowledge the warning. I also commend the fact you have given warning and that you are essentially playing the game how it should be. I hope you have fun. My door is always open to the OE, who to date have allowed the Warlords to return with no more than profitable hits. To this, you receive my thanks and my blessing.
...but a little part of me wants you to come and play
