Gukumatz wrote:Well that argument applies to everything in the game. What good are Motherships to those that can not afford them? Or the Marketplace and SS status to those that have not yet earned it or can afford to buy on it?

If their planet is in the way of your massing them then can't it be stolen?

its not about massing them or anything like that, its about being able to hang on to a very valueable resource.

i remember when i bought my ship (or to be precise when Teal'auc bought it for me)

i couldnt afford to put that many weps or shields on it but i remember it made life a hell of alot easier when it came to farming/massing, just as planets do now.
trouble is like i say, how are they expected to hang on to them?

LOL those were the times... I was like : WTH 450 mil for a MS, where can I get that much. Or the times when you had to use all your multys to farm enough for a spy
level 19.

Now the planets are more than worth it, I had somebody attack me with a 12,000,000,000 attack on planets alone
They are Lord Zeus's if you want him but gotta wait til he is off of his *vacation*

planets would be much better if they added the natural power to you attack defence whatevere. if they put it back to that planets would actualy be worth something

they should put it back to 100 percent and stop annoying people with weakening the planets all the time

planets arent worth it. plain and simple. u spend like 20+ bil on fleets, then atleast 5bil on defences PER PLANET then u have to upgade the productivity, then it can still be taken by by almost anyone in the top 500 and u lose your 5+bil investment.

also, has anone else realised that motherships, the market, and planets are creating a huge rank drop off for new players? think about it, a new player doesnt have the market, or if he does he wont have the stuff to use it, so he cant get the steady, no risk income it provides. which means he wont be able to buy much stuff for his mothership, which in turn means he wont be able to get planets, let alone build defences for them. this effect, collectively, means that higher ranked players can grow exponentially in power in relation to those below them, but not gain much rank because those above them would, logicly, gow at an even faster rate. his effect could also be amplified by the fact that higher ranked players usualy have more officers, increasing thier UU farther, allowing them to make more spies, soldiers, and use the market more often than those without officers.

I think it should be that you would have to mass the entire defenses of the planet away before you can steal them. Stealing's just way too easy now.

those at the top are going to get stronger thats how it works and i mean almost all at the top actually deserved it(not corkscrew and others who are only there by buying others things)

planets are great if only there was a better way to destroy fleets and track planets then it would be all right
