I used market turns to make a planet and was building defenses on it and then the screen said I abandoned it. I'm sure I only hit the buttons for increasing defense. I had 960M of defense on it and didn't get a beacon put on it yet.

on the attack page when you put in a page number and click go to page it takes you to http://www.stargatewars.com/battlefield.php instead of http://www.stargatewars.com/battlefield.php?page=4 so if you click on a stats link and then click back it will give you an error

same problem with the user id go to button and the username search button

if you are on a stats page and click refresh it reloads properly, however if you click in the URL bar and hit enter it doesn't reload and gives an error, not sure if this is a bug or not. same for attack pages. It would be nice if these two didnt need the referer information

also userid 1 appears to have not come off of ppt in awhile... or is that just normal for him to have 43 billion out and an army of 35K? and not to mention the covert level of 35 and anticovert of 34 seems a lil high... why cant we farm jtest?

I wasn't so lucky, I lost 120 bil do to the glitch, does admin refund that? If not i understand i'm not sure, but it has to be fixed. It makes trading internationally impossible. I set brokers before I go to bed soi have the naq the next day. When I get back from school the next day the other guy is in bed. Basicly I can't trade with any of my old buyers do to time zone differences. This has to be fixed fast.

how are you doing that then, as i just tried that and quite rightly the game didnt let me (i have 0 MTs)

Do have more than 0 but less then 3?

A lil math error maybe?

i used one mt and clicked to see if it'd work and hey presto it did.

You don't accrue turns after you get above 4000. Not a bug.

erm, what do you mean exactly??? that i have to sign in from http://www.stargatewars.com or do i actually have to change the URL when i log in and it fails???

Grey Wolf wrote:I could be wrong here, but I think this is what happened to me. My problem was that the page I had linked at the top of my browser was not the home page, but was my command page instead. With the new security update if you leave the site then the only ways to come back to it are the "go back" arrow or going to the home pag and signing in again... even if you were just on 2 minutes ago. Kinda annoying if you ask me, but I guess security is security.
Try changing your link to the home page if you have it set to your command page.

browser error...cannot determine referring page.
To Login to the game, use the main page form.
Please ensure your browser supports passing referring information (referrer logging). This information is used SOLELY to ensure your visit is your own, and from our site. The referrer logging is enabled by default in all browsers, and very standard on the internet.
Also note that typing in urls, or using links that are not matched to your current login, will not work.
This is to protect you and your account from fraudulent activities and/or hacks.
Your broswer information is below for your reference, as is a list of methods to allow referrer logging. exiting....

actual refering information: .
broswer: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; OptusNetDSL6).
your IP:220.236.219.96.

INTERNET EXPLORER 6
This can be done from the computer's Control Panel > Internet Options, or from within the browser Tools > Internet Options.

Click Security.
Click Trusted Sites then Sites.
Add *.stargatewars.com website address in the box provided and click Add.
Uncheck the box that requires https verification.
Click the Privacy tab (Medium is an acceptable setting on the slider, but click Sites and again enter your website address)
Now click Allow.
Click Apply.
This has only altered settings for your website and this does not otherwise affect your browsing.

FIREFOX, NETSCAPE

Type about:config in the URL address bar.
A large collection of alphabetically listed information will appear in the browser window.
Search for network.http.sendRefererHeader.
By default, this should be set at 2.
If it is set to 0 - which disables sending referrers - right click it, select Modify and enter 2 as the value.
If that doesn't work, try a value of 1
See http://kb.mozillazine.org/Network.http. ... ererHeader for more information.

OPERA

If you have disabled it, go to Tools > Preferences > Privacy and re-enable it.
Latest Version is Tools > Preferences > Advanced > Network and ensure 'enable referrer logging' is enabled.
You can also go Tools > Quick Preferences and ensure 'enable referrer logging' and 'enable javascript' are both enabled.
Although it should not make a difference, you can also ensure that you are not loading cached pages. This can be done by setting Tools > Preferences > Advanced > History and changing the dropdown under 'check if page is updated on server' - 'check documents' - to 'always'.

see http://www.opera.com/support/search/sup ... ?index=454 for more details.

If you have software on your computer that is filtering the HTTP 'referer' header, you will experience problems viewing the site.

Many consumer software firewalls, such as Norton Personal Firewall (which is also part of Norton Internet Security), ZoneAlarm, and McAfee, remove the referrer from HTTP requests which will prevent you from viewing images or downloading files on any site that does a referrer check. Therefore, such options should always be turned off.

For Symantec and Norton Firewalls: Go to the Privacy Settings and disable 'Privacy Control'. (Please note that 'Privacy Control' does not protect your privacy in any way, as your IP address will always be logged regardless of that setting).
For ZoneAlarm: Go to Privacy -> Cookie Control -> Custom and uncheck 'remove private header information'.
For McAfee Firewall: Go to Privacy Service -> Protect my Identity -> Erase Revealing Information and uncheck 'Prevent Referer Information to be Shared'.

Software like AdSubstract also blocks the referrer and makes image viewing impossible.

i tried doing what it said, and tried both IE and FF, but it just wont load...

THE ONLY WAY TO ACCESS SGW IS FROM

http://www.stargatewars.com

once logged in........

you cant click on bookmarked links to your attack page, your alliance list, or a good raid farm

you must use the internal navigation that is allowed in the sgw pages

http://www.stargatewars.com

I believe it is clear that is what you need to do.
