I dont think many people want to have overbanking back. Most would agree, after the initial shock, that it was never supposed to be there and that the issue shouldn't be whether or not it should be removed but why it wasnt removed sooner.

well guess what? up until the broker came out a few months ago, NOBODY had a limitless bank. the players who are currently large got there by sending naq to friends, by investing in weapons. saying that new players wont be able to handle this is false for a number of reasons:
1)throughout the period in which this has been possible, new players have not had access to P2P benefits, and as such they had to do it ALL via weapons and miners.
2)it is not unbalanced towards stronger players with larger banks. when i first started i had to ask for a loan of the 400mil it cost me to buy my market SS. my bank size wasnt even that large. new players will have to learn to live with what those of us who have been here for more than a few months took for granted. that a LIMIT was exactly that.

why else do you think there was a limit in the first place. did you really and honestly think that it was just there for show, or did u realise that overbanking was an unintended feature? for the majority the answer is the latter

There wernt as many big players as there are now 6 months ago, and time frame v resources is relavent

Well I have question since reading thru the whole thing here I did not notice this.
So does any one know what happens with the 10% PPT bonus that you got prior to the update when you ascend? So do you get to keep it or do you loose it?
I would really like to know since I wouldnt want to ascend and then figure out that my bank is now 5 bil instead of 30 bil. Since I dont quite get what was meant in the update info.

you should be able to pay ppt to incrase your bank size since it is limited to 2 a week.

Spam? It's called a friggin joke.

As for my post in the planets section, it's in English so I don't know how you can't understand that I was making an observation that MPDSD is lasting longer than 24 hours.

i notice none of the old players are complaining..

you did know that we played the game for over 15months without any broker, overbank, or massively ppt'd increased bank?

and somehow we made it work..... even with ascending's. i remember esker was back into the top 20 only days after his first ascend..... i wonder how he saved that much naq? he had no broker, he had no ppt twice a week for 7 months to increase his bank.....



the question is, if someone of esker's questionable talents can do it, can you?

This new update is shi.t i f.ucking hate the thing. I have a capacity of 94bil and i get sent 94.7 and instead of the 94 going in it all goes out! so i get massed for naq becuase of this fuc.king thing. this game is going downhill fast

This is one of the best updates IMO.

yes its bad that the naq you can hold doesnt go into your bank, but I get the feeling it will be fixed soon.

This update was thought up after someone was smoking some serious drugs. Banks do not have limits. Banks have minimum requirements but not limits. Banks do not leak. Naquadah is a metal, not a liquid. This game is supposed to be about Stargate and it's nothing like it now. If the U.S. military was holding more naq than it had warehouses they would build more warehouses. They wouldn't hire more miners to mine naq. If you want naq to magically leak then create a better way to expand your bank. How is going on PPT twice a week related to Stargate? Do they hide out twice a week to build more warehouses to store naq then they go raid then it's half the week off again? That's just stupid. Either take away naq leak or make bank capacity easier to upgrade or get rid of a bank capacity.

Maybe make a bank like an Alpha site. Your naq is safe until by random chance someone leaks information about your Alpha site and then you start loosing naq until you pay to fix it or "move to another Alpha site".

I have lost 5 billion naq because of this stupid leak thing and I got no warnings. I log on for no more than 10 minutes a day. I don't come to the forums, I don't talk to anyone else who does so I had no warning that this was coming. I just spent real money trading with someone for naq so I just got 50billion then the update comes.

I do have a life unlike the top players who log on every turn to spend their naq. I get to check this game once every two days and the bank was my, as your game suggests, STRONGHOLD. Looks like it's a weakhold now.

The broker now putting your resources out in the open is stupid as well. If you trade with someone on an alien planet you're not going to wave your purchase around for everyone to see, you're going to hide it straight away.

With thousands of players how can you decide this update by a few bias forum posters?
