I think it will be very useful as everyone gets used to it. Unfortunately, I clicked someone inadvertently and they took quite a bit of damage in the process. Some advance warning would have been nice as well as a tooltip on the graphic itself to indicate what the function was.
I suspect that there are going to be a lot of small, accidental hits while everyone adjusts to those icons being there.
** Note to Jason **
Setting the ALT property on the <img> tag won't do a tooltip. You need to use the TITLE property.

I like the concept, but perhaps these buttons could be located else where. Its very busy and compact look as it is.
The buttons are good but perhaps they could be located on the persons stat page rather than on the attack list.

no the ALT property does just that... mouse over it and leave it a few seconds just like most images where that is used a little tool tip with what has been entered for that images alt shows up...
edit
I'm using IE7 and the tooltips came up fine... perhaps its another reason not to use firefox

the point is to make it easy for raids/naq hits andspying... thats why its a 1 click hit... not a 15 click page load typing numbers fiasco to get it...
1 click hit... 1 click spy... 1 click raid... this saves server time/bandwidth and TheRook time... which is all highly regard as being valuable and very very sexy...

As a raider I love the idea, only draw back being there isn't a 1 turn hit button. Make 1 turn raid button and my hat goes off to yuh.

Get rid of it, get rid of it!
I've already wasted 13k of my troops attackign someone in the top 10 who I didn't mean to? There is no warning, there is no information on what the button does!
Just generally browsing becomes a pain.
Get rid of it!

this update is horrible..it makes the pages too busy, the buttons arent labelled fo someone who hasnt already made a mistake or takes the time to chek each one...there is no 1 turn atk button, and for firefoxers u cant put htem in tabs so going back n forth is defeating the fox (browser) advantage
the only nice thing is that u can tell whos on ppt before attacking them...if the buttons could be moved that would be ok i gues..lke on the other side of naq?

That's handled by the TITLE property. ALT is used when images are turned off as an alternate text to display. IE uses the ALT text in lieu of the TITLE because it doesn't conform to W3C standards.

I also clicked a button at random and killed 4k supers - but I did manage to raid 212 uu from Mr Shocker. Sorry, no tooltip in Opera, but I might have switched them off ages ago, I almost never use them anyway.
Otherwise, looks like a neat update, except for the formatting in the attack page. All the horizontal lines dividing the accounts up make it much more difficult to read, slightly larger spacing like before would probably be better. Keep the buttons by all means, but please make the page easier to read. If I keep squinting like this I'll go blind.
Cheers.

Yes i get that - lol
Its a good feature but its in the wrong location, you should click their name and then have these buttons as quick links next to the already present, spy/raid/attack buttons below their basic information page.

Just been on a short farming run, from the load times involved it seems as if the extra php from the buttons is slowly killing the server...
