Well we shall see now how the new updates do to stimulate growth in ascended.

now income planets are unraidable. sure bullying tactice could be employed but it would be even more frowned upon by the community now the gain is far less than before, it would just doing it to hold somebody down now. i think mojo (and other DD members i encounterd) are pretty nice guys really so i can't see them doing it for something like that...
PS: nice update admin

Most people are nice when they get their own way.
Going back on topic - although I do like the update - I still don't like this idea for following reasons, and I'm sorry if it's already been said.
1. Ascension - as I understood it - was meant to be a choice. You could remain a basic race or ascend, both for the new game and the bonuses. Now a lot of people obviously chose to ascend for the bonuses but ignoring the issue of playing ascension or not - if you can feed back from ascended into main the choice is no longer a choice. All the basic race accounts suddenly have to ascend if they want any hope of keeping up and some people do make the choice not to ascend. Feeding back would invalidate that choice.
2. From a role playing point of view it's not allowed. Rule number 1. Ascended beings do not interfere in the mortal realm. Unless you want to have all the ascension accounts being Anubis like then we are not meant to feed back to our main realms but instead sit and watch them. We already interfere anyway sometimes with the 'blessing', more interference would be leading to punishment.
The only way that I could see this being done is if you had massive amounts of punishment on the ascended account - a percentage of their forces (a high percentage) as well as their ascended being stats, reduce them by 9/10 every time they feed back. So that when you feed back and every one can feed back if they so desire, they are left with 1/10th of their forces and personal ascended being stats.
If you have 100 charisma and you feed back you end up with 10 charisma, 1million planets becomes 100,000 planets, 5000 fleets becomes 500, etc. The percentage punishment would need to be the same for everyone and but then the benefits for someone massive would be similarly large as well.
This is breaking the first rule of ascension so I don't think it should be done. If it is to be done then the punishment needs to be extreme. Now this isn't going to stop people from only ascending for the bonuses but it would encourage them to play so that they get some benefit out of sacrificing. Add the addition that you can't feed back into main until you reach... I don't know lv 50 on all ascended being stats?
PS, I still don't like this idea.

You're wrong.
A friend and I have both bought accounts from COP members in the last six months. I bought Hensenshi's account, and he bought Profiteroles. Neither of us was affiliated with COP, but neither of us was raided to hell and back either. Why? Because we used our heads.
As soon as I got the account, I stuck it on realm alert and sold the strike so I'd drop in rank. Then I started untraining guided planets, and putting them into defense/covert/assassin. Yes, I had stupidly high stats for an account of my size. Yes, my income and subsequent growth were decreased significantly. The up side, however, was that the account become a far less attractive target to would-be raiders. Then I started throwing everything into defense and slowly training more guided planets as I built it up.
So yes, there is in fact plenty which he could have done. Of course, this is a moot point given the new updates, but your maddonna was far from helpless.

You have all my respect.
This is a true player and tactician. He understood how the game works and used his brain. If all the players would do the the same before comming up with stupid enhancement proposals that they will eventualy regret...

Haha, stop it. You're making me blush.
Thanks a lot though, mate. Means a lot, especially coming from someone in the DDE Empire.

To be quite honest, once you reach a certain point in defense, it's pretty much useless to raise it higher. There's 3 people in the game who could beat my defense, Mordack took his defense much higher than needed, but that's his choice, and he has benefited from it greatly. You can check and see, when I sold him the account the influence was ranked 18th, look at what it's ranked now.

The thing is thought that the amount of defense and things that we had to put into place stopped us from keeping up with most of the players from the alliances such as DD and omega.

so lets see while DDE or cop or omega are doubleing their account every week ish or watever, you will sacrafice your growth thus your accopunt compared to dde or watever will become more and more **Filtered** thus the account woudlnt be worth it!
that is a tactict in its own
thye have successfully stunt your growth, and made you not a threat to them without touching you at all. either way you lose

and how long would it take to increase that strike to about 10 tril with 3 mil pop growth per day, 10B + income
