Exactly what I mean true morality is impossible without being all-knowing. *goes a little off topic* My main problem with God is that if the Christian God is real then when he created the universe he knew that everything would turn out exactly like it did. So all this pain must have some cosmic meaning, but I am missing it. Would it be too much of a miracle to send some Mana and feed the world?

Why is there pain and suffering? ......think about it....who is ruling the world at this very moment.

And furthermore, there will never be world peace, a solution to world hunger, an end to war etc. It simply showcases humans inability to rule themselves.

Maybe if God woud help those things would be possible. He/she/it does not help so it is up to humans not metaphysical beings who do not even act, so why waste time with them? Why would not God give a starving kid some food? I say nothing is there and that is why no help is given.

It doesn't matter that God gave the world to the Devil, God created it and is responsible for it.

no. this is not human inability to rule themselves. this is how the world works. it's just comes with the package. there's very simple mathematical rule behind this (power law). it's just human society tunes itself to critical state where every small event has potential to turn everything upside-down. it's maths, nothing more.

we can ask philosophical questions "why is this designed that way?" but there's nothing we can do about it.

This is a Christian thread and we believe the bible being inspired by God himself therefore if you are unclear about something ask it based on the Christian belief and you can then use God's word, the bible, to explain why things are the way they are.

I don't need mathematics, evolutionists, scientists telling me why things are so bad, I know why because the bible tells me why.

You get people all the time moaning about how bad it is, why world hunger, wars, how can God allow this. You know what they say most of the time? God works in mysterious ways. It's absolutely amazing how these "scholars" of the bible can say that, they are truly blind.

And yes, you are right, this is the way it works, this is how man rules himself, nice isn't it? Human society is so unplugged like you said, they can see it ain't working but yet they still want to bring about World Peace and an end to suffering. The bible tells us who is THE ONLY ONE WHO CAN BRING LASTING PEACE!

yes. i agree. i've just explained the mechanics (one can talk about "human nature" referring to a certain person but humanity, societies, even though consisting of individual humans with their beliefs and opinions, work more like mindless atomic particles in an scientific experiment), you've answered the philosophical question.
