It's not the guild that folds space ... It's the Holtzman generator invented by Tio Holtzman ^^ The navigators only find safe passages thru foldspace ^^. Sorry ... just had to ^^

And since the guild and bene geserit want your head on a platter and know what you would do to the universe, I'd think they'd prefer turning arrakis into a dustball with the only fleet in excistance and then using tylaxu to try and distribute worms throughout the galaxy to find yet another dune. And keep it UNPOPULATED.
