Sitting in back street bar in Mexico once, I ran into some one who was an American, so we struck up a conversation. I asked him where he lived and he said "Germany"
I said "Germany, how come?"
He said, " I moved to Germany cause I was living in Cali. and there a bunch of Fing fascist Pete Wilson (governer at that time) a fascist there all a bunch of fascist. "
So I said, " Your telling me you moved from one of the most liberal states in the union cause they where fascist, and when to the country that made being a fascism an art form."

No! Not an art form! A model of efficiency! Get the stereotype right! lol
though let's be fair - they haven't been fascist in Germany for over 6 decades.

Anyway, it's the fact that he was willing to at least bluff that says something.
But I will give you the Bay of Pigs debacle....
Oh, and JFK only sent advisers to Vietnam. It was Lyndon Johnson who actually started sending combat troops over.
JFK assassinated the South Vietnamese president who was possibly going to negotiate neutrality, millions of lives could have been saved if he wasn't so afraid of communism in third world nations.
Have to correct you there appy. The south Vietnamese president was assassinated by people within the South Vietnamese military due to the fact that he was taking the money meant to build roads and hospitals and making himself palaces.
As for the worst president that is a tough question. There are numerous aspects to consider while making the decision who was the worst president, and who was the best president.
I personally believe that this question is too long of a debate and I am going to go play MTW2

Best- JFK
Worst- Truman (atomic bombs)
JFK is FAR from being the best.
Truman is definately not the worst.
Anyways, I'd say:
Washington, Lincoln, Jefferson, Teddy Roosevelt.
Worst:
Andrew Jackson, Andrew Johnson, Carter, Clinton.

WATERGATE!!!!!!!
[sarcasm] Sure JFK was the worst [/sarcasm] he was in Luther King side, he fought racism, was for human rights and tried to solve the cold war in a better way...big reasons to dislike him and say he's the worst... *sigh*
Tried to solve the cold war in a better way?
Try reading up on how he started the Vietnam War, the handling of the Cuban Missile Crisis, Bay of Pigs invasion, the adultery he committed in office, and other things that are covered up by his assassination.

We were involved in Vietnam since 1945. We actually saved Ho Chi Minhs life so he could help us find downed U.S. Pilots.
When Eisenhower left the presidency he warned JFK of Vietnam. JFK did try to solve the Vietnam problem. He did increase the military role of The United States by upping the personal in Vietnam. However prior to his death he released a NSA memorandum no 262(may be wrong on the number) which called for withdrawing personal from Vietnam. The day before he was assassinated a report no 263 was issued which was exactly the same as 262 but it did not include the withdrawal of any troops. These has led to conspiracy theories. If you want to blame a president for Vietnam blame Johnson! He is the one that increased the military presence significantly.

all true vinny d. Don't know about the memo or grassy knoll, but kenndy was bailing out the French after they seriously misjudged the extent of the monsoon season and the north vitnamism strength. He sent advisor's in increasing number to Vietnam. Johnson up the anty with the bombing and raids in cambotia (spell) leading to one of my fave song of the seventies, " holiday inn cambolita" by the DEAD Kenndys.

I don't remember anything about Jefferson, but Roosevelt and Washington were great, I don't like Lincoln, you can say what you want about slavery, but like the assassination of JFK, that only serves to cover up the rest of what happened during that time
lol.
Lincoln did far more then just end slavery.

I thought clinton was one of the best. He did wonders with foreign policy and trade. {Nafta}
Personally, JFK was one of the worst presidents I know.. For one.... he didn't do anything and was wildly unpopular before his death
As much as I love jefferson, his embargo took him off the list...
and that tripoli incident was embarrassing
and his "little jeffs"... o.o ... were just plain stupidity
Best
lincoln, clinton, and jefferson... and [halmilton- the almost president]
Worst
Andrew Jackson/Johnson, Jimmy Carter, Franklin Roosevelt

While I don't think Clinton was a good president over all, I do have to give him credit for introducing the Line-Item Veto. People adding crap to bills that have nothing to do with the bill.... insanity. The LIV should be used more often.
oh, and the country you're thinking of Halamander is called CAMBODIA.
