The growth rate of caps are the same for everyone, if you have 5 army or 250 million army.

The reason I am thinking I that I am correct is because I did my first numbers based on what Mukasa posted they were on the 28th, and compared them to what I had on the 29th. That gave me something to work with. I then took that number and and multiplied it by 3 and subtracted it by the numbers posted on the 28th and they matched the numbers posted in the first post of this thread by madcat(on the 25th). That helped varify things. I then confirmed it with my own numbers again today. You can look at your own numbers if you want in the training area under where you upgrade your raw UP. They should match what I posted today, unless you check it tomorrow, then they will have gone up by the numbers I posted.

As I said earlier, the caps are not really dynamic so much as flat lines upon which they will grow daily. Because the amounts have gone up by no more than 1 I do not think they based upon a sample size, or atleast not one that is changing. He may manually update the rates upon which they grow from time to time based on samples though. I imagine that is how he got the screwy growth rates that currently exist, rather than nice even numbers.

(note: if you total population size is greater than 201,095,890 disease will surely strike your lands. Above 150,821,918 and raiding is no longer possible. Above 100,547,945 and trading/buying units no longer possible. Pergatory is not accessible above 50,273,973)

(note: if you total population size is greater than 200,547,945 disease will surely strike your lands. Above 150,410,959 and raiding is no longer possible. Above 100,273,973 and trading/buying units no longer possible. Pergatory is not accessible above 50,136,986)

50,273,973-50,136,986=136,987 cap growth per day for perg
100,547,945 -100,273,973=273,972 cap growth per day for buying
150,821,918-150,410,959=410,959 cap growth per day for raiding
201,095,890-200,547,945=547,945 cap growth per day for plague

it might actually be based of of regular growth still... just think how many uu's need to be moved for it to affect the rate of growth... or how much some UPs need to go up to make an impact...

I suppose the only real tell we will have is if we had a huge server war that the top 1000 or so people got into that really killed some army size.

I would agree, but I find it high unlikely that the rate of growth has remained exactly the same for 5 consecutive days.

(note: if you total population size is greater than 201,643,836 disease will surely strike your lands. Above 151,232,877 and raiding is no longer possible. Above 100,821,918 and trading/buying units no longer possible. Pergatory is not accessible above 50,410,959)

50,410,959-50,273,973=136,986
100,821,918-100,547,945=273,973
150,821,918-150,410,959=410,959
201,643,836-201,095,890=547,946

(first day calculations)
50,136,986-50,000,000=136,986
100,273,973-100,000,000=273,973
150,410,959-150,000,000=410,959
200,547,945 -200,000,000=547,945

u can get a excel spreadsheet and log the growth rate which is pretty cool i guesse

Keep in mind that the game also gives you negative -1 uu when you train several at a time. It is because of your UP producing fractions of a uu. I would guess that is what is happening here, the actual growth for caps may be 136,986.4 for perg, so 1 day it goes up 136,986, the next 136,987, but the point is that it keeps jumping back and forth because it is not an exact number. Just a guess of course.

edit:

I know I am probably beating this to death, but I did numbers again for today (November 1st)

(note: if you total population size is greater than 202,191,781 disease will surely strike your lands. Above 151,643,836 and raiding is no longer possible. Above 101,095,890 and trading/buying units no longer possible. Pergatory is not accessible above 50,547,945)

(note: if you total population size is greater than 201,643,836 disease will surely strike your lands. Above 151,232,877 and raiding is no longer possible. Above 100,821,918 and trading/buying units no longer possible. Pergatory is not accessible above 50,410,959)

Todays numbers
50,547,945-50,410,959=136,986
101,095,890-100,821,918=273,972
151,643,836-151,232,877=410,959
202,191,781-201,643,836=547,945

Compare that to past days numbers
50,410,959-50,273,973=136,986
100,821,918-100,547,945=273,973
150,821,918-150,410,959=410,959
201,643,836-201,095,890=547,946

50,273,973-50,136,986=136,987
100,547,945 -100,273,973=273,972
150,821,918-150,410,959=410,959
201,095,890-200,547,945=547,945

50,136,986-50,000,000=136,986
100,273,973-100,000,000=273,973
150,410,959-150,000,000=410,959
200,547,945 -200,000,000=547,945

It might also be worth noting this:
547,945/136,986=4.0000073
410,959/136,986=3.0000073
273,972/136,986=2.0000000

Plague is 4 times perg limit
Raid is 3 times perg limit
Buying is 2 times perg limit

I think it should be HALF of what it is now, this is STUPID!

All our time getting over the caps is being wasted because everyone can buy and raid their UU as fast as a lot of us are growing, its silly. I tell you what it is doing its wasting my time.
