We gave them alcohol in trade for land and resources they had avaliable.
They had no idea what alcohol was, or what it did so they started drinking it and it IS Australia's fault that they have become so small in numbers and so unstable. If you give someone free heroin without telling them what it does, no doubt they will take it and get addicted, and become useless and dependent on help.

You need to stop skipping in the gardens of naivety and get a clue.

We were the nation that pushed them off cliffs, buried their children in the sand and kicked their heads off, shot them and stole their land and weapons(spears), played the "monster" card in order to justify our sickening actions.

Before you start talking about how they don't deserve an official apology, how about you actually study up on Australian history, and not just the stuff they teach you in school, the things they conveniently leave out... like the mass slaughters and the fact that they managed to wipe out every single Aboriginal from Tasmania. Don't forget the raping of the women and the enslavement... Why would we want to say sorry? Gezz... I don't know sparky.

Although just because thier earlier generations drank alot due to being traded alcohol, dosnt mean current generations have to. So back then, sure, they got screwed over, but they dont just have to lie down and complain about it for generations. They could always get up and do something about it.

i was like 7 y.o. or sumthin when they started trying to do it... by that time i already was friends with an aboriginal boy, honestly he was quite normal. Shame we lost touch...
