Your job is to mod people who ruin a forum for others. Not warn a person trying to bring some life into the forum. I double posted to try and help start some conversation but fine then Ill let it wander another week before someone else posts. Lastly I stand by my comment and wont change my attitude or comment because your a mod. Warning me with that in
my humble opinion is the exact opposite of why your where you are. But thats fine then doubtful you care but Im out of here so dont have to worry about answering or warning me again dont plan on visiting here again. Enjoy your forum and the rest of you hope you find something to to argue about for a long time LOL.

since religion has been mentioned how about what day of the week is the Sabbath on.

On the 7th day the bible says God rested. And we should do/observe the same.

So on the Calendar the first day of the week is of course Sunday and the 7th Saterday. But (we)most christians observe the sabbath on Sunday.

Ready, set, debate

See I would disagree with you on both points there..... ;-)

Chavez is actually a good guy who is giving really cheap oil to the poor in America and South America.

We need taxes for everything -- schools hospitals roads........ Just better administration of the taxes we currently give so its not wasted. Then we'd have loads of money!

Ah come on now....

I live in IReland - just dont be brainwashed by what skynews and the Sun tell you about him. He has done great things for his country, and he is far better than could be in power there. The west has to go with what america says. He's giving cheap oil to the poor in other countries and has made over 1mil illiterate adults, literate. Chavez is far from perfect but hes a hell of a lot better than who was in power before him, and who could be in power after him.

As for taxes, i didnt say I liked them, I said they were necessary. There is a major difference.

Id say you are the one talking bollocks imo.

1. i don't have a telly
2 i dont read any crap like sun. i have a very good friends of mine in venezuela so what i know is first hand info. they're facing a famine there now cos that idiot set a max prices on all food. chavez needs to be killed, the sooner the better.

aye. taxes are necessary up to like 12% income (or spendings). everything above that is a robbery. and schools and hospitals should be private. everyone who knows anything about the way economy and governments work knows that for very 1 yoyo spent on something by those parasites 2-4 are wasted.

you lost this argument the moment you used the word yoyo.

Plus you knifed yourself when you said that "aye. taxes are necessary up to like 12% income ", your first argument was to abolish ALL taxes
"CH would remove the tax in ireland"

I actually agree that chavez is bad, but in a debate I have had to argue that he is good, and I did so. You cant always debate what you believe in and trust me that is the hardest part.

what's wrong with "yoyos"? it's faster to type.

analyze..
"CH would remove the tax in ireland"
and
"your first argument was to abolish ALL taxes"
see?

that's good. cos i was almost thinking you're one of them d4 muppets

I do debate competativly, and the hardest part is debating against your core, fundamental beliefs.

Cant be a D4, if I now live in Galway (because I study there, my parents are living in Kildare but im not from there - thats a long, boring and complicated story)

Dont get me started on "whats wrong with Yoyos"...

its not quicker than typing € which requires two keys typed at the same time - "alt gr" + "4" just to start...

ya don't need to live in d4 to be a d4... actually most of d4 don't live there. i was in navan yestarday and there's a lot of them there.

i know that alt gr trick but somehow alt gr doesn't work on my laptop :(

Sexuality and "morals".

Why does the sex age have to be so high (don't give me the "because people live longer now" crap, nature makes kids get horny when puberty hits, and that won't change no matter what laws you have)?

Why does sexuality have to be seen as so negative in so many places (I know, mainly religious influence, but there are even atheist prudes out there. So I wanna know why)?

Why is morality needed at all (There are idiots out there, but we could just ignore them...which, is better then hating or hurting them in my opinion, cuz that only drags you down to their level...)?

Why do people have to slap dogma's of good, bad, evil or holy to sex (in my opinion, sex is none of these. It just IS, and feels rather good. :-D )?

And so on... Yes, I have a problem with how the masses (especially the religiously influenced ones) treat sex. :P

The existence of Magick. Now that, would be an interesting debate. At least, for me.
