Oh wow, patronising much? Would you put France in that 'little teams' category as well? That would only be fair, given their amateuristic attitude and utterly incompetent performances.. similarly with Spain, England.. even Germany. And we all know that even if they were both at their peak level, there is no way the best France could ever beat the best Germany.

My wishful results:
Portugal 2-0 NK
Chile 1-0 Switzerland
Spain 2-0 Honduras
"Little" teams good results were fun for a while, but WC must start serious now.
Why Chile 1-0? Because Chile knows how to defend like Swiss does, but they have better shooting skills. Unless Swiss scores first, but then it would be 1-1 like solmyr said.
Portugal 2 - 1 NK
Chile 1-1 Switzerland
Spain 1-0 honduras
i think,

i do hope spain completely flop it tho and only come second in there group

yeeeeeeaaahhh

Patronizing? Maybe, but I'm getting bored with the world cup. Most interesting matches this second round being USA-Slovenia, Ghana-Australia.. It's middle level teams. Middle level teams currently entertain the most, however the "great" are not, and the small not really either...Sure Brazil vs CI was entertaining but it ended the wrong way..
France at best level like in 1998, 200O or 2006? Yes they would. Without
any doubt.
Don't tell me this WC is the most entertaining you ever saw...
Enough of those 10-0-0 startegies, seriously...

Actually this World Cup is one of the more interesting.
Everyone goes oh yeah England's got an easy group...... oh Italy won last time they're gonna be great...... oh Spain are being picked by the bookies as being the team that wins....... so far most of the BIG teams (big as in popularity) have failed to show anything.... however, the "little" teams (as you put it) have injected some excitement in to this WC.
What would be boring is the same old countries getting through. let's have an under dog surprise us for once.
If you're getting bored of the world cup then switch it off and don't read this thread.

I don't mean I want to see Germany/Argentina/Brazil/Italy be in last square, but aside of those four teams, no other is "regular" winners...so yes, I wanted less regular teams to see going far.
I wanted to see Cameroon go far, they didn't. So no, I don't want only "great teams" passing.

agreed. apart form brazil and argentina, not any of the other really strong nations look as good as the bookikes said. teams like new zealand being solid chance to progress, and slovenia, slovakia and serbias tournaments, that mean alot to those countries this WC, are all fantastic so far.

Today's matches and
REALISTIC results:
Portugal 2 - 0 Korea DPR - just way too strong, especially for korea
Chile 1 - 1 Switzerland - cause both teams are unexciting and not overly strong
Spain 3 - 0 Honduras - Its spain (assuming they dont choke)

Oh look, it's Solmyr. Hi Solmyr. Will you be very upset when these things don't come true? I'd like to know that before making fun of your pick.

You knocked my Great Leader's Nation and my Kanton. And don't forget.. if Honduras loses, they will go to
war. For real.
i couldnt care int the slightest which way this goes... id like spain to win, im quite fond, and i think portugal deserves it. chile is probably the slightly stroner of swiss and chile, but i think the swiss have something somewhere !!!

Portugal will win...
Only underdog so far who provided some results and game was hmmm NZ. Two draws, one against Italy.
Talking about different outcomes and all...the current setup is going to favour Argentina and Brazil...who happen to be among main WC winners. That's if mainly middle team go thru. Because Argentina & Brazil can unlikely be stopped by middle teams.

In. Your. Opinion. Which doesn't count for much, seeing how the rest of the world actually appreciates what the unusual suspects are achieving at the World Cup. It's just a bunch of sour grapes -French- and unimaginative sports commentators who think differently.

Jim, don't project your own height issues on the heartthrob that leads DPRK..

That's just .. wrong.

Hey shortie, until you're over 190cm, you can't talk. You may deny your height issues, but I know you need a kitchen ladder to get to the top shelf.

Kim Jong Il, on the other hand, has 210cm tall people taking stuff from the top shelf.
Do you have people doing that for you? No? Thought so. So while Kim may be smaller than you, he sure as hell has less trouble with it.

He's a boss. You're .. what, an 'independent' student?

Proud of the massive achievement of reaching 180cm?

Did you see, btw? Ronaldo failed EPICALLY already.

Infact, you don't know at all, because I don't need that.

Don't see how you could know, anyway..

Yes he wears platform shoes because he's insecure about his height. I don't; Ah!
Are you communist?
Because only communists would defend Kim Jong Il...

And what was that, an attempt of an insult to me?

I still have growth, I must be higher than 180cm now, while your "hero" well he doesn' grow anymore.

You're missing the point. He's a world leader. You are not. Until you're at his level of power, don't whinge about the only thing you may have that is better.

North Korea aren't doing too badly in this match.
Two missed opportunities so far even with atrocious weather.
Don't forget in 1966 they were ahead 3 goals to 0 before the match turned upside down.
