Actually it's more a mix of the first season and the mid season breaks. Those mid season breaks kill shows so easily. More often than not, a show will just stop airing out of the blue for three-six months and everyone forgets about it, then it just comes back on the air all quiet like without anyone knowing.
Honestly, the one thing I didn't really like about it was that it reminded me too much of Voyager. Now I loved Voyager, but I don't need nor want a Stargate: Voyager.
Still, the shows was getting pretty good in the end of the second season. Pity it was canned.
