pcarmy is doing well with that huge toc. That doesn't change the fact that a Genesis member was paid to descend a BAU member though Was pretty sure we were promised an apology over that one...but oh well...

I don't normally read the forums because I typically don't have the patience to sift through all the spam, but a few of my friends told me I had to check this out for a laugh.

Now to get a few things straightened out.

I descended 4 or 5 BAU members a few weeks ago because I was bored and had extra turns. As for the BAU member that Genesis descended, there are a LOT of missing details. First, Genesis never received any resources, turns, planets, or cash for doing anything. I had massed the BAU account down (12 quad def to start I think, it happened March 10th so I don't have the intel logs anymore). I tried descending him once and he came online and refilled. A few days later I was out with some friends for the day drinking, so I started making hits from my phone. One of my RL friends plays in Genesis, and that evening I jokingly offered him a free beer if he made the next ascended assault hit because I was having some motor function problems from the aforementioned beer and kept dropping my phone. Sure enough, he made the next hit which ended up being the descension. Now, I am a man of my word, so I gave him a free beer. But I really wouldn't call that being "paid" to descend anyone.

Now everyone has their panties in a twist over a guy who was going to be descended anyway.
