it's not fact, because your history needs some updating my boy. England was not the only colonial power in the North American region :o :o :o :o

No in-fact there was Spanish and French colonies all over. Hence why you have places such as French-Canada and Louisiana named after a certain french king and lent it's name to the "Louisiana purchase" which was Thomas Jefferson buying a large chunk of North American soil from these "French" these "French" would have easily replaced England as a colonizing power in the U.S. That's probably just a stereotype though.

You forgot Russia. Either way, As it stands, Without Europe, The USA is nothing. Live with it, Or live in denial, Thats the way it is...

The same can be said of Europe would be nothing without Africa because the human race started there. By the way nicely changing the argument from "without the UK America would nothing" to "Without Europe America would be nothing"

And Bucket, Russia has enough oil to not go for Alaska and we can't you know...drill most of it, seeing as it's on protected land   crazy boy. Besides Alaska came out with Sarah Palin...

It still doesnt stop alaska haveing the 7th highest income in the USA, with 80% of that comeing from Oil and gas...Cant get to it all you say? Apparently there is ample amounts comeing.

Appy, if you had read the thread from the start of the "USA is king of the world" converation, you'd note that i have been saying all along, that the USA needs europe just as much as europe needs the USA, economically. As for WWII, Yes i was talking in context of britain, We where in the war right from the start, (So why dont you turn up a few years late for this conversation too?) either way as mordack pointed out, Alot of generals played alot of war games on paper, it it would have ended a stalemate. Its widely known the germans would never have taken Russia. And its widely known hitler was a terrible commander, which again, would have worked in the allies favour.

And one last point, Your a boy, Im a man.

i wouldn't put it as equal terms there, i think it's a pretty clear show that Europe needs the USA quite a bit more then the USA needs europe. That could just be opinion though. No, alot of generals did it on paper and ended with Axis control of Europe. What makes you think that England could have beaten Germany, they were an island surrounded by a neutral country and a hostile continent, their fleet being crushed in the pacific and being bombed daily. Without American transports of tanks and planes you could never have even dreamed of manufacturing a half decent defense against Germany. Also; Russia was poorly equipped, poorly trained and poorly fighting. Why else could a force of 3 million germans take so much Russian territory and incur so many casualties. Did the russians have a major thing to do with it, like keeping factories in stalingrad going despite no food and no heat they did it for their country. HELL YEAH there's that. But you can't just say the US wasn't a deciding factor, it was.

Also; Hitler wasn't a commander unless he got pissy about the situation and felt he could do better.

One last point; i seem to be informed, you seem the opposite.

Appy, Your ill informed and for lack of a better word, So i have to use one which mau be seen as condescending...uneducated....I wish to continue this conversation once you have a degree in something, Or until you have been educated to the degree where you can argue and listen, until then you lack the capcity to argue properly, listening only to your own points lacks method and conclusion, and only bolstering your points with nonsense, Little to no evidence is offered. Constuct, Dont destruct, then you will find your arguements.

Until then, in the words of rage...

haha. You tell me to offer evidence while having offered none yourself? when proven wrong you simply switch arguments and pretend that you were making them all along. Not to mention you have yet to tell me what "facts" i've gotten wrong, what i am "ill-informed on" when i have given you many. And Buck, "philosophy" major, come back when you have a degree that wasn't handed out on the equivalent of a toilet paper roll.

LiQuid please tell me what facts i have wrong, i never said the UK had nothing to do with America i'm gonna have to ask you to go back and learn to read our language, perhaps then you can slightly understand the point i was trying to make. :) in-case that's too much for your weary mind i said that the UK was not the tell all see all of the North American colonization effort.

My fellow Americans, you have been lied to by both Republicans and Democrats and have paid for it with your blood and money. Both parties are not here for us but for the politicians. Remember dudes, politicians are not to be trusted!

I assume you have the ability to read? I have offered facts in abundance...whereas you have offered non. Your ill informed upon the fact that all your arguements end in "America is the reason for everything being the way it is" which is frankly, Wrong. You might as well be saying to me that america invented oxygen, Because thats how ludacris you sound. As for the degree, You appear to have misunderstood what i said, the degree itself is unimportant, its the arguement skills you gain from writeing for a degree which are, and which you clearly dont possess.

And toilet roll? Im glad you know what that is, it means your potty training now. Good for you.

My point....

Our political parties and those who follow them (politicians) can no longer be trusted. For too long we have seen attacks from one another saying he/she/they did that and I/we didn't... For instance I saw a part of a McCain rally where a man voiced his opposition to the Democrats saying they have been in control of Congress and failed miserably.... let us not forget of the REPUBLICAN president in office at that time...(Pres. Bush)

Both parties are not willing to settles their differences for the good of the great country of America and its people... (no offense guys but the idea of freedom for all puts America at the rank of roxxorzzz)

Both candidates (not including third party candidates) cannot be trusted seeing as they both promised no attacks on each other and gosh darn it.... THEY ATTACKED!! They couldn't even get do that right....

McCain fails because of how old he is and Palin being too close to power...
Obama fails because no one will let him stay in office...

_______________________________________________________________

Personally, I think the parties should be disbanded so citizens won't vote for people who are just in their same party...
