Once before, I was told that I was attacked because of my rank. The person always attacked the person with the rank 2,222.
Psi, I quit a long time ago. I'm not going for a sob story here, but I just didn't have time to waste playing a game where I was massed every day just for kicks.

the game has got to where it is by a number of means... some are my 'fault', some are not

regardless, it is the community, not the game, that is the real entity here...
i have been trying to cator to as many of the community needs/wants/wishes as i can

strategic, planned, and finite means, to accomplish your goals, is one...
within sgw main, that is hard to 're-achieve'....
That does not mean sgw main is 'done' by any means -- enhancements are sitll being made, (see perg comment below), and work will, as always, continue...but...it is a faster paced game with the ability to gather turns/resources quickly which in turn allows the 'constant attack' (reason or no reason) referenced in this thread. What people do with that, is of course up to them, but hand a man a hammer, and you have a pretty good guess what he'll do

(answer for those who can not guess: hammer everything in sight...)
is all lost if you do not like hammers? no

there is a new playground, for those brave and intelligent enough

it is a truer test of mono a mono....if you dare...
http://battlecorp.stargatewars.comfor the rest, pergatory is stepping up... it will favor 'old school' standards of limited resources.
and then there is always chaos/quantum....
the battleground is wide -- take the fight where it suits you.
as long as there are wars in/through/around/above/below/orbiting/circling/over stargates, i will provide suitable battlegounds

So are we to take that "sales pitch" as a "it is what it is, move to my other products, we`re giving up on this one" heh?

No the sales pitch was to distract people from this unfixable issue and hopefully shut everyone up. And help them find something more suited to their ever increasing demands and problems with everything.
The problem isn't the game, it's the community, and Jason can hardly code an update for that. So the best he can do is give options, and good on him for it.

You would do it though. I would bet a lot you WILL do it. In fact you probably already have in some guise.
If not, and if I am wrong, then you are fool. 80% of the richest, most powerful people in the world have the classic description of a sociopath at some point during their life, 90% of that time its when they get to where they are. The last 20% could not effectively be used in the study. Nice guys finish last in this material world we live in. In the immaterial, the sentimental side, well anything goes.
Pretty simple, but on the line.
